About: I have grown up with cats and during late middle school years I have took care of my grandparents cats by providing food, water, and entertainment while they went on vacation. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter to entertain and walk the dogs, and recently have had experience house sitting a dog and two cats for two weeks with providing water every day, proper scheduled food, keeping the litter cleaned three times a day and as needed, and took the dog on walks every day to keep her active as well as making sure the cats never got bored. I’m a WVU freshman who is currently working towards majoring in Animal and Nutritional Sciences to pursue a dream job as a veterinarian. I am hoping to gain more experience with your beloved furry friends and a little extra cash in-between my semester breaks! Unfortunately, I do not provide care at my personal residence, but as long as you leave your pets with me I’ll treat them as my own, proving them fresh water every morning, keeping up with the scheduled feeding schedules, and making sure they always have clean litter and that your dogs are walked multiple times a day. As well as providing them entertainment while they’re in my possession making sure they never get bored, getting the proper attention and care they deserve.

About: All my life Ive been surrounded by dogs. I love them!! My family and I raised Guide Dogs for the Blind in middle/high school. The guide dog program emphasized consistently above all else. In high school I volunteered at a puppy mill rescue center and sat with dogs and help build trust towards humans. I learned a lot about taking your time with each and every dog. After college I volunteered at the Dumb Friends League for 6months and eventually adopted our sweet old dog Kenai. I am a full time fitness manager. My job is very flexible and I have multiple breaks throughout my day. I love to run, walk and hike! My husband often times will assist me. He works from home and is extremely patient with all animals. I call my husband the dog whisperer. We both love spoiling your pets! Pet care is woven into my daily and weekly routine in a big way. I have nine cats of my own, plus I foster regularly, so mornings and evenings always begin and end with feeding, litter box care, and spending time with them. Throughout the day I make space for playtime, cuddles, and quiet check-ins so each cat feels safe and cared for. I also volunteer weekly with SNIP and work with Mountaineers for Mutts, so my schedule naturally revolves around making sure animals are supported—whether that’s at home, in foster care, or through community efforts. It’s not something I squeeze in; it’s a core part of my lifestyle and something I prioritize every single day. In my home, I care for my own nine cats and foster cats by keeping a structured routine—regular feeding schedules, fresh water, clean litter boxes, and plenty of playtime and affection. I make sure each cat feels safe and comfortable, whether that means quiet time for the more timid ones or interactive play for the energetic ones. When I’m in a client’s home, I focus on following their specific instructions so their pets keep the same routine they’re used to. That includes feeding, walks, litter or potty breaks, administering medication if needed, and giving them companionship—whether that’s play, snuggles, or just sitting quietly with them if that’s what makes them comfortable. My goal is to make sure pets feel secure and cared for, and that their owners feel confident knowing I’m treating their pets with the same attention I give my own.
“We really appreciate Jennifer (and John) for taking care of our kitten. They were very thorough and gave updates along with photos. they were able to watch Cali with little time notice. They made sure Cali was played with, cuddled and cleaned up nicely when we got back.”

“There aren't enough folks celebrating cats on Rover in general, and it was so nice to find Lauren-- she handled things here very well, medicating one cat and managing all their "unique' personalities well. Cats seemed to not notice I was gone, which is always a great thing.”
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. I have experience helping care for pets for friends and family, including feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I always try to provide dependable care, lots of updates, and a calm, loving environment for every animal. I currently have a M-F full time job, it would be ideal for afternoon walks and cuddle sessions. Weekends are also a great fit, if you are working weekends or nights I would love to check on your dogs and cats. I have 1 cat who is not dog friendly and he’s never been with other cats. I am very cautious about treats and toys and make sure it is a safe place for the animals to relax and play.
“McKenzie took wonderful care of our dog Nala while we were away for the weekend. She communicates well, responds quickly, and sends lots of pictures. Absolutely will be booking with her again for our further trips. You can trust that your fur babies are in excellent hands with her!!”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I was raised around dogs and cats from the time I was born. I was a dog sitter for a few years, but I currently don't have the space for it in my home. I have experience in dog grooming, and I cut my own dogs hair. Currently, I am interested in mostly dog walking and occasional grooming services. I'm a bit out of practice with cutting dogs with different hair texture from my poodles curly coat, so I will take grooming clients on a case by case basis right now. Bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, gland expression, and things like that are always available. I am currently working from home, so I have a lot of extra time to fill. I'm looking to get back into my dog walking hobby. I should be available most days of the week. I'm sensitive to each individual pet's needs. I always treat my pup like my baby, and will do the same with yours. My dog is very friendly, and gets along with all animals, so if you'd like some socializing or playtime, we can introduce them.
About: I was a professional pet photographer for many years, and I have worked at a luxury pet resort. I started accepting Rover bookings in June of 2025. I will be with your dogs during the day as well as overnight, but I will need to be able to leave during the day to meet ongoing commitments. I will travel out of my area (Deep Creek, Alpine Lake) for an additional fee. I will stay with your pets in your home, where they are most comfortable. If they are used to cuddling on the couch with you while you watch television, I will do that. If they are used to being outside a lot, I will take them out (weather permitting of course).
“This is the second time we’ve used Christian and McKayla. You can depend on them to take great care of your cats while you’re away. It’s nice to come home to washed food dishes, clean litter boxes, and happy cats.”

“Rachel did a wonderful job with our dog while we were away! We would fldefinitely recommend her as she sent thorough updates and pictures. These were very reassuring to see throughout the week!”

About: I have owned and been around dogs my entire life. I am a nurse and have experience in providing medications (including injections) for my dogs. I have experience with bigger dogs as well (previous bulldog owner and current owner of bulldog/pit mix). I work 3 days a week but would love to help out on my days off. I am flexible and would love to help out fellow pet parents that work long hours. I am familiar with the dog park at Krepp’s park and enjoy walks at cheat lake. I would love to take your pup along for a walk.
About: I am a friendly, caring, reliable, "Dog Mom." I love walking my dog, a Coon Hound named Emma. I am looking forward to caring for your pet because I know that your pet is a part of your family. When your pet is with me, I promise they will be safe and happy. I have a couple years of experience with cats - we had three when I was a kid! Now that I have a dog of my own, I enjoy taking care of her. When I am with your pet, I will treat them as my own. Safety is my first priority with every pet. Please contact me if you have any questions about my experience. I look forward to meeting your fur baby!
About: What sets me apart is my genuine, lifelong love for dogs and my hands-on experience as a pet owner myself. I have two dogs, and my oldest is now 7 years old, so I understand the different needs that come with both younger and older dogs. I’m patient, responsible, and very in tune with dogs’ body language and emotional needs. I’m also experienced with basic training for puppies and attentive care for senior dogs, including administering medications and adjusting routines to match their energy and health needs. I treat every dog like family and aim to create a calm, safe, and fun environment tailored to each pet’s personality. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily life since I have two dogs of my own. I’m used to planning my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them the attention they deserve. Adding care for other pets fits seamlessly into my routine because I genuinely enjoy it. Whether it’s early morning walks or evening check-ins, I’m flexible and committed to making sure each pet gets the consistent care and love they need. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs like medication or crate time. I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for in your absence. I also keep your home tidy and secure, and I’m happy to send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I have raised dogs all my life. A few years back I used to rescue and board temporarily until the dogs were nursed back to health. Once the dogs were adoptable we would set up meet and greets to adopt out. I am experienced with many breeds. I used to have a terrier who was diagnosed with diabetes. We had to do injections twice a day and put her on a feeding schedule. I have experience with several breeds starting small to huge! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have a wide open schedule at the moment and I'm just looking for busy work until school starts. My dogs are let out routinely. They are fed on a strict schedule twice a day. They are brushed and played with to help exercise them especially the bigger breeds due to their hips.
