About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, hermit crabs, lizards, and fish, so I’ve always been surrounded by pets of all kinds. I’ve walked my family’s dogs for 10 years and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors with them. While my apartment doesn’t allow pets, I’d love the opportunity to care for yours through walks and drop-in visits. I’ll treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own. I currently work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! I’m typically available Monday through Friday mornings and early afternoons, and I’m happy to accommodate the occasional evening or Saturday when needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I currently offer dog walks and drop-in visits only, so your pet can stay in the familiar environment of your home and neighborhood. Whether we’re enjoying a walk, playing in the yard, or simply keeping them company, I’ll follow your care instructions closely and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’ll always treat your home with respect and care for your pet as if they were my own.

About: For some reason, every dog I've ever met loves me. I absolutely adore dogs. I've been dog sitting for 17 years for friends and family. I've taken care of shy, skittish, hyper, calm, anxious, and every other type of dog personality. I have a calming way about me that dogs love. I'm incredibly trustworthy, detail oriented, careful, loving, and protective. I am willing to help out in any way needed to make your dog as happy as possible. The dog in my profile is my former dog Roxy. I rescued her from a shelter. She was my best friend. No one would choose her for a forever home because she had a lot of social needs. I was able to work with her on these needs and did a lot of training and she became an amazing dog. I can't wait to meet your dog or dogs and give them the care that they need.

About: I have experience in cat sitting with clients, some of them had anxious cats that were more on the spicy side. I gained their trust and surprised their owners when they found out how close and cuddly they got with me, that's my quality. I don't expect every cat to open all of their boundaries and I respect doing what they want. 😸 I am known to socialize with the cats outside of just feeding them and cleaning their litterbox. I have had 3 cats of my own, 2 which have been elderly cats who needed medicine and careful care. 💊 I am very good at administering meds and staying consistent. I have had two dogs which both crossed the rainbow bridge from elderly age (a malamute and a newfoundland). I am an equal cat and dog lover! I would love to have a dog again one day. I walk with a cane so I am comfortable walking small dogs. 🐶 I have a very flexible schedule since I work from home. I can stop by any time in the mornings, afternoons, and also early evenings. When going to a client's home, I am very careful when entering and exiting the home when the door opens. I also do a head count of any cats including my own before leaving a house. I know from my own pet that they like to get curious and can suddenly go into a bathroom or closet and can get closed in. Just like my teaching days - taking head counts is important! I also watch the pets as they eat especially if there are multiple in a house so that they don't overeat by sneaking snacks from their pet buddies food.

About: I've had a love/passion for dogs since I was born into this life. Growing up, I've always had a dog in the house, so it easily became the norm for me. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds, including doberman, pitbulls, great dane, labs, boxers, beagles, and mutts. I truly love them all. I'm open to taking care of all breeds. I don't discriminate! One thing I will note is that I specialize in high energy/working dogs and am very familiar with larger breeds. Just to give you a quick example, I raised a Doberman from a puppy which led to me learning A LOT throughout the process. Doberman are a working breed and require plenty of mental and physical stimulation & I think I cracked the code! I’ve developed a deep understanding of what high-energy dogs need to thrive. I'm good at stimulating their minds, keeping them active and most importantly, happy. I'm not a certified dog trainer, but I do understand the importance of balancing their physical and mental well-being, and I'm dedicated to ensuring each dog has a great time with me! I'm very engaging and mindful, so whatever your dog may need, whether it's staying active outside or relaxing at home, I will do my best to provide. That's a promise. About: Hi! I’m originally from Madison, WI and recently moved to franklin. I absolutely love all animals and have over 16 years of experience caring for them,especially cats and dogs! I’ve fostered cats for more than 3 years and currently volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I care for injured and orphaned animals. I’m also working toward a degree in Fish and Wildlife Science, so animals are truly a part of my daily life. About: I'm Julie (Jules), a graphic designer and creative director. I own a design and branding company in the Chicago/Milwaukee area that services clients locally, nationally and globally. I love all creative pursuits, including writing music for piano and singing. I've always loved all dogs, especially larger breeds (though the smaller pups are super cute and sweet and steal my heart equally!). My pup, Bella, a black lab mix, was a very kind, sweet and gentle dog. She passed in 2016 at age 14, having had a very nice life. I would love to help other fur babies who need caregiving while their humans are away or need a daily walk or check-in. I'm at home working during the week and have access to a wonderful backyard, an amazing neighborhood, and parks nearby. I love all outdoor activities, especially hiking and swimming. Would love to take your pups to the beach or on any sized walk they desire!! :) I offer these services because I love dogs, not to make a living. It's a great win/win to have a sweet fur baby around from time to time. Yes, it's nice to have some extra cash to work on the house, but my primary career more than covers my income needs. I share this info so you can be sure no other dogs will share your pup's time with me.* I keep to a strict policy of one-on-one care and up to two dogs from the same family... if you have more than two, please reach out, and I may be able to make exceptions. My rates reflect this customized care and focus for your sweet puppers! *In mid-2024, I started pairing up dogs that requested having another pup present from a different family. Please let me know if you are open to having a playmate for your pup. If you prefer no other dogs in the home while yours is here with me, I strictly adhere to your preferences and take this quite seriously. I specialize in customized care for dogs with behavioral issues such as not getting along with other dogs. Since my dog passed in 2016, I have been able to devote all my time to your pup when they're in my care. They will be carefully cared for and pampered, with every need catered to. The only thing I won't abide is a pup who isn't house-trained. If your dog/pup has never been left with a sitter before and you'd like to ensure they're a great house guest, I do suggest booking a 1-2 night stay much in advance of your trip so we can see if your pup has any specific issues to call out, and if I'm a good fit for them/you. I have found this to be of great benefit to you and me! I charge a cleaning fee IF your pup has "surprise" issues with incontinence, as this behavior can happen; however, I don't take on dogs with this issue unless we have a solution, like a doggy diaper or pee pads (for puppies). Severe separation anxiety can also be challenging, as my own pup had this issue. If there are situations such as this, I ask that you bring a crate, and the pup must be trained and be OK to be in their crate as needed. If no issues like these exist, they need to have their own bed or spot where they like to sleep. I don't allow dogs to sleep upstairs with me. Snuggling up on the sofa with a couple of pups is one of my favorite things to do. I know most dogs like a comfy bed. As noted above, please bring a fresh bed for your pet, either a cleaned dog bed from home or a new one. I have blankets for the floor and a lovely sofa that I cover with a blanket for the occasional daytime snooze. If you have an elderly dog, I know just what to do to provide the best care. As my dog Bella aged, I learned how to adapt every year. Listening to your dog and providing the best care is my priority. I realized that leaving an ailing or elderly pup in another person's care can be stressful. I would treat your dog like my own and hope to put your mind at rest. I welcome all questions as part of our meet + greet. I only sit for dogs I know or can meet during our meet + greet (unless out-of-town circumstances or timing prevail). I can sit at the last minute only for pups I've sat for previously or know well. If you are traveling from out of town and cannot sync up for a meet + greet, please reach out to discuss your situation. As far as breeds go, I have experience with an extensive range of breeds—larger breeds with special needs like an elevated dog water/food bowl due to how they process food or other breeds that are great with humans and not so wonderful with other dog breeds. I've had great results with training. I have experience with smaller breeds as well. As mentioned, I only sit for house-trained and well-behaved dogs in the home. I book up early... sometimes six months before a planned trip. Please plan ahead to secure your desired dates. I look forward to meeting your amazing pups soon!! Jules I'm home most of the time.
