About: I’ve had several pets and worked with livestock over the years. Pepper was our family pet, a Border Collie I trained as a puppy. I cared for Murdoc, a 50lb German Shepherd mix, into his senior years. In 2017, I rescued Circe, a pint-sized black cat, and in 2021, Joey, my sweet senior beagle boy. I feel like I’ve done it all: thorns in the paw, administering meds, emergencies, play time, treat time, training, long walks, car rides, cleaning messes, and more! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I do venture out sometimes, but keep it to four hours maximum. I'm more of a night owl, so I prefer drop-offs after 10am and can accommodate pickups as late as 1:30am. If you need to arrange a drop-off earlier than 10am, need to book without two weeks notice, or I’m unavailable at the start or end of your booking, feel free to message me—I'm happy to see if we can work something out. I only book one dog at a time through Rover. However, I may also be caring for additional dogs through my LLC. If you're booking with me for the first time on Rover, please note that there may be other dogs in my home, other than my own, during your pet’s stay. These dogs are not new to my home—they’re regulars who have been properly vetted and are low- to medium-energy. Your pet is my priority ✨ I am attentive to details, so when a new furry friend comes over, I keep a close watch on how they're adjusting to their new temporary environment. I'm excellent at picking up on even the smallest signs they give off and base my care accordingly to ensure they're feeling comfy right from the start. I have a dog and cat at home and will care for your pet as though it were part of the fam! I have advanced education in communication, so I strive to be transparent about what is going on with your pet, and I expect the same from you before booking. Every pet has quirks, whether your pup needs lots of cuddles or some space to chill, I make it my mission to ensure your pup feels safe, happy, and like they're on vacation during their stay!

“Danielle and her Alaska Huskies were wonderful! She was fun and helpful and obviously loved my fur babies and set limits so they knew what was acceptable behavior on her turf! She was accommodating as well. One evening my class went overtime. She had no problem keeping my boys until I could be there. She communicated by text to let me know how they were doing each day. She allowed us to visit before our appointed time so my dogs could be introduced to her dogs. Danielle was wonderful! I highly recommend her!!”

About: I am an avid dog and cat lover that wants to live vicariously through your pet. I'm a full-time social worker whose career is caring for people in community. However, my passion doesn't stop there. I also love animals! I was born and raised with cats and dogs throughout my whole life. When caring for your dog or cat I treat them with love and care as if they were my own. I love giving lots of ear scratches and belly rubs along with taking them outdoors on walks. I feel better being in the outdoors hiking and if your loved one does too, I'd love to share my passion with them. I love animals of all ages and sizes. “Wonderful experience! Catherine was quick to respond and willing to watch my puppy who was still working on being potty trained. I received multiple updates and pictures throughout the day. She was willing to help with potty training and create training and offered other training services. She had great advice and did great with my puppy during her stay. She was flexible with pick up and drop off times and communicated needs and concerns with me about training before implementing changes with my puppy. Overall great experience!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for neighbors and family members since middle school. Currently I walk and care for 2 dogs of a family friends. I grew up always having multiple pets and multiple dogs. We currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 Guinea pigs. I completed schooling and worked as a dog trainer for a pet store for two years during college. I also took care of college classmates dogs and cats while they went on vacations. I’m currently a stay at home mom. Boarding your pets would be easy to arrange! At most I am gone for a kids play date or sporting event for 2 hours at a time during the week. On weekends we may have an event that I am away from home for 4 hours. Our dogs are out in the yard at least 4 times a day getting their zoomies out. I have a fenced in yard for your babe to play. Extra small and large dog crates to keep them in during the day or over night. Willing to bathe your dog for $20. We have 2 Pomeranians (1 male, 1 female) to play with your loved one. Please always let me know on your dogs play comfortability with other dogs. Very willing to send videos and work on treat training with your pup if wanted.

About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember! I've helped some at a vet clinic and cared for dogs there. I have had my own dog who was a senior. I am very comfortable with, and have a soft spot in my heart for seniors. I actively dog sit acquaintances' dogs. I am very active and will love to run and walk your dog! I am not currently working, so I am home and happily willing to give 24 hour care to your pet. I have the extra time to spend playing with, walking, and snuggling your precious pet! I have a chain link enclosure with a high quality dog igloo, and I can easily crate your dog if needed, as well! While my yard is not fenced, I am home much of the time and am able to take your fur baby on long walks and playtime.

About: I am a nurse and have the ability to change my schedule around. I can work as little or as much as I wish. I am also a wedding photographer, and have previously worked with animals at a shelter and vet clinic. My availability depends on the day so let me know what you’re thinking! You might even get some free photos of your pup. I have worked at an animal shelter as an adoption counselor and intake representative. I have also worked at a vet clinic, so I know the basics of animal care and boarding. I have my own dog at home, and he usually just sleeps and cuddles most of the day. I understand how stressful leaving your puppy can be, so I’ll make sure to send updates, and won’t be mad if you message me for them! I try to keep my calendar up to date as much as possible. I have my own dog so I know how scary it can be leaving them with someone else. I will send plenty of updates if you’d like them. Just let me know! Please note: I do not accept house sitting requests for people that smoke in the home I am a nurse and make my own schedule. I can work as much or as little as I want, so I have flexibility to care for your animal’s needs. I am able to do overnights if needed while my husband stays home with our animals. We can always play with my puppy or I can just hang out with your fur babes.

About: Hey fellow pup lovers, My name is Katie and I live in Southwest Michigan! I've had a love for pets since I was a diva in diapers, ;) I have a beautiful 6 year old Alaskan Malamute named Houston Rhino. He's the love of my life and gets along perfectly with all pups big and small. He definitely keeps me busy but I don't mind because he has my heart. I promise to treat your pup with the same TLC I give mine! They will be just like family whether they visit once or once a week :) I offer a wide variety of services so don't hesitate to send me a message and ask questions about special accommodations. A typical day will include multiple potty breaks, cuddles, playtime, and more! Katie I am currently available for afternoon dog walking, drop in visits, or dog sitting in your home (or mine!) :) Any medications or special accommodations are part of our day as well. I love to check in with my clients by sending a picture or a text about how their pup is doing. Safety first means I always have dogs leashes unless we’re in a fenced enclosed area. I work hard to meet all client expectations for their fur babies.
