“I used Rover for the first time for doggy day care over the 4th of July weekend 2022 while on vacation. I chose Janel based on her excellent reviews and the fact that she was conveniently located in DeepCreek/ McHenry, MD. I also loved that the dogs had full access to her home and even allowed on the furniture. Janel and her family welcomed my 50 pound female labradoodle with open arms as one of their own. I received photo's of My girl on walks and relaxing at the house which reassured me that she was in good hands. I previously used different company in the area and when picking up my dog she was very stressed and anxious. I assumed she may have been crated for some length of time. Not a good situation for an active 2 year old. She was the total opposite when I picked her up from Janel's home. Her tail was wagging and she was in good spirits. I am very pleased and feel fortunate to have found Janel and her family. About: I have cared for and been around dogs throughout my whole life. I have always had a passion for animals! I love to run and play with dogs that have as much energy as I do or even just hangout on the couch and enjoy a relaxing day. I want to meet all of your pets needs even in last minute circumstances so that their humans can enjoy a stress free experience! Traveling and unexpected situations can be difficult and I want to make sure your pet is comfortable. I’m familiar with caring for senior dogs, puppies, and dogs with special needs. I currently make my own work schedule and have extremely flexible days. I’m always willing to adjust when needed. I love all sizes and breeds so I can accommodate any energy level as well I have a very loving and super friendly puppy of my own who would love to keep your pet company! We go for lots of walks throughout the day and get lots of time outside. I have cats as well that are very friendly with dogs but they can also be kept away in their own space if need be!

About: I decided to join Rover because my friends always contact me to take care of their pets and they say I should make a job of it :) I’ve also been a personal assistant to two families, which included staying with and checking in on their pets on a daily basis and while they were away. I’ve had a few clients over the years where I’ve taken care of their dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and other farm animals. I’ve helped run a small farm as well so if you have horses or other animals that need looked after, I’m all in! I have a college degree and manage a restaurant now. I’m very responsible, handle stress well, and have always taken my obligations very seriously. I’m trustworthy and always on time. That’s part of being a business woman :) Besides that though, I truly love animals and I’m very fond of dogs, cats, and horses. I’d love to help you out so be sure to get in touch! Fortunately, as a restaurant manager, I get to create my own schedule so I enjoy helping out families with their pets in my off time. If you need me to take your dog(s) for a walk, stop by to play with your pets, check in, potty breaks, or spending the night, let’s discuss what schedule you need. I’m very flexible and can also help with any special needs you may have such as giving meds or cleanings. Just leave me instructions and I will be sure to follow those and any other guidelines you may have. Keeping your pets safe and entertained will be my priority. I’d love to send you pics and check-ins to offer you peace of mind while your away.

I have experience with pets of all ages, medical needs, and those requiring special attention—like blind or deaf animals who need extra patience and care. Whether it’s daily check-ins or last-minute sitting, I treat every pet like family—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too. I work from home and I make my own schedule. So, tons of time for walks, play-time, bathing, and cuddles. Missing your fur baby? No worries! As a fur mom, I know how reassuring it can be to get updates, with pictures and videos, while being away from your babies. I have 2 pups and tons of toys that will keep your pups entertained, and space they can retreat to if they feel overstimulated. I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. My fur babies have a calm and safe environment, and we’d love to share that with your fur baby.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and have taken care of many of the neighborhood pets with walks pet sitting and some Slight grooming. I am experience with special needs babies. I have given shots and can make sure an animal will take their pill. They are something that I love and I’m hoping to be able to turn this into a full-time career. I work from home and my position allows me a lot of time to work on other things. I will be able to take care of your baby at any time. I have a decent sized backyard that I have a strong wire fence and my house is pretty big which I allow them to have the run. I have cages if necessary but only if the babies want that.

About: I love animals and spoiling them is my game! I have 3 spoiled dogs. I have had my own personal animals for as long as I can remember. Each pet I look after is treated as my own. I grew up on a farm and we took in rescues of any kind. I have been taking care of puppies and kittens on bottles to seniors with shots/meds at times my whole life. Each pet I look after is treated as my own. I'm working part-time at home. I have time for play, walks, and maybe just a fun ride for a pup cup. I have a small fenced in yard for the dogs. I have 3 friendly dogs, 2 small (8 lbs) /1 med (25 lbs). I have crates of different sizes, harnesses and leads, and collars if needed.

About: I grew up on a farm. My parents were both vets and worked with horses. I grew up in a household were our first priority was our animals. We’ve had a hand full of animals but dogs are my favorite! Also, I have a German Shepherd/ English Mastiff. I took him through basic and advanced obedience training and a little bit of scent work. I love enhancing their mindset with toys and little games. My dog is very friendly and loves having buddies over. I currently work a full time job but only work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I’m available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. My dog and I go to the local park and run around for a while after we take an hour walk. We would love to have another dog to hang out with! My dog is able to roam around but under surveillance 24/7. If we have to go somewhere he goes in the carpeted basement and plays with his puzzle games until we are home. We usually like to lay low on weekends so I will usually always be there!
