Between 2014 and 2021, I worked as a kennel supervisor at an animal care center, where I took care of 50-120 dogs every day. I am also a certified veterinarian assistant and have experience in administering medication through various methods such as IM, IV, SC, PO and topicals. Currently, I am attending college part-time to pursue my BS in Environmental Science. In 2016, I started pet sitting after witnessing how some animals were affected by being away from their homes while boarding. I noticed that while some were okay, others were incredibly uncomfortable and anxious. As a result, I decided to offer pet sitting services. I am generally available throughout the entire day on weekends and during the week before and after work. During the week, I work in Fryeburg and have a half-hour lunch break. If you live nearby, I can take short breaks for bathroom visits. While I'm not home, I can either crate your dog or close any baby gates or doors to confine them to a specific area. My dog has access to two rooms of my house, including his crate.

About: My family has had dogs, cats, and rabbits since I was a child. I have been pet sitting on and off for several years. I’ve been fortunate enough to help train my friend’s dogs (the bernadoodle and lab mix in the pictures). By working as a guide at a remote lodge for the last 10 years, I am well versed in caring for larger animals too, including horses, goats, pigs, and more. I’m happy to help care for some of the most important members of your family:) I currently work full time Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. I often travel to different parts of the New England on the weekends but am happy to care for pets on those days with 1-2 day notice. You will get the best available and individualized care of your pets in our home, or yours. Daily updates along with photos and videos of your pet, and have the peace of mind they are being loved and cared for just like you would at your own home. We welcome training opportunities, and can continue treat and/or clicker training and potty training as well. My husband worked at a local Donkey rescue and I have been rescuing Strays since 1985. We both just love and care for animals. The nitty gritty details: We only watch pets from 1 family at a time. This lessens the stress on them, and us, and allows us to give them the BEST care possible. This also costs a bit more. Our time is valuable, as we know yours does as well. While we are capable of hosting multiple pets, we choose to focus our time and care on your families pets 1 at a time. We do require a meet and greet, and sometimes a “trial run” for certain breeds, elderly pets, or pets we will be watching for over 2 days. In most circumstances this is NOT required, but we do want to meet those who are known to have separation anxiety, barking issues, food aggression or aggression in general, have high energy needs, special diets and medications and any pet that doesn’t do well with strangers. Day care pets during the week do need to be fairly well mannered, and not have barking and/or major anxiety issues. Drop off before 8:00am and Pick-Ups after 8:00pm will be charged an additional $10 per hour. Pets not picked up within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick up window will be charged an additional $20/hr. I currently work full time remote, so will have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! We have a regular schedule of play time, including walking or outdoor time every 2-4 hours for 15-30 minutes. We have a fully fenced backyard, and ALWAYS leash ALL pets when outside our yard. We have had several “runners”, corgis and cats that want to bolt for the first sign of freedom… or squirrels/birds etc. We take great caution to make sure your pet is safe at ALL times.

About: I've always loved all animals -- and had my own little neighborhood pet sitting business when I was 10. I grew up with cats, and adopted my own cat as soon as I graduated college and got my own apartment. I had her for 10 years, until I had to put her to sleep due to kitty breast cancer (in 2018). In 2020 I adopted a puppy through a rescue organization, and then added another dog to my family when I married my husband who had a bassett hound. My friends have had me pet sit over the years for a variety of breeds of dogs. I'm a self-employed entrepreneur with an Airbnb business and an interior decorating business. For cats, I make every effort to pet & play with them the full amount of time for our visit. If they choose to hide, I make an effort to coax them out. About: I’ve always had cats and dogs growing up so I am well versed and experienced in owning and taking care of fur babies. I’m very much an animal person and while I only have 1 cat currently as I don’t have time for a dog it doesn’t stop me from loving them and wanting to help someone else out with their pup or kitty! I am open to almost any day and times! I am a full time server currently and we are approaching slow season so I have more availability but sometimes weekends are tough if I am a double. I take care of my own cat by changing his litter every other day, changing his water bowl 2x a day and always making sure he’s got food. I have taken care of friends cats, families cats and dogs, etc. I am always open to helping out whether it’s letting the animal out, feeding, walking, or a sleepover/cuddle sesh!

About: I have been pet sitting for a long time now and even made it my summer job in college. My goal is to give your pet plenty of love and attention to make them feel comfortable. I have a 2 year old mini schnauzer who loves all dogs of all sizes and he will make sure your pet has plenty of play time that when you get home they are tired. I work fully remote so I am always home. I have a yard out front and then snowmobile trails behind my apartment where we can go for long walks. I work fully remote from home and will always be around :) I am usually up around 6:30 am and go to bed around 10/10:30 pm I offer a lot of love and attention to all pets.
