About: Hello fellow pet lovers. After years of experience caring for a variety of dogs and cats, I understand how unique each one is. It generally takes a few days to get to know their personality, quirks and preferences and to bond with them. The bonding and earning their trust is something I really enjoy. Some love Belly rubs, some love being chased, some are super independent, and some want lots of cuddle time. They all appreciate vocal communication about what's happening and it seems to speed up the bonding time. I find it helpful to communicate with you about your routines and habits with your animals so I can keep them feeling as calm and cared for as possible while you're away. Please see my Trusted Housesitters profile for more reviews. Just search Bend, Oregon and you will find me under my preferred name Hamsa. My legal name is Trista. My daily routine is taking a morning and/or afternoon hike and I'd love to bring your pup along. I'm also available for drop in visits if your precious one just needs some love and attention. I work part time from home as an evolutionary astrologer. I am quite a homebody although I like to take an outing or 2 each day to go hiking and exploring. Taking care of my own body/mind and staying calm, healthy and centered is a big focus during these wild times. Animals are my angels and medicine as they bring me so much joy and fulfillment. I love this job!

“Eleanor's love of animals is pure and was evident in the way that she cared for my old man. I could immediately tell that they were going to enjoy their time together - and their pictures were clear evidence of! I even saved a couple because they were so cute. Thank you thank you Eleanor - can't wait to have you back!!”

About: Hi! 👋🏽 I’ve been pet sitting since my late teen (15+ years) years and love it! I have repeat pet parents that have trusted me to take care of their fur babies for years. My goal is to give people a peace of mind when leaving their pets which we all know is hard! I have my own pack of 3 beautiful girls and foster for a local rescue often! I LOVE puppies and will keep up on training for any dog as requested! Lots of outdoor time and play are always on the daily schedule! I look forward to loving on your baby so you can take your trip with a peace of mind. 🤍 Note: my dogs don’t join me as they prefer to stay home but love meeting new dogs if they are welcome! I work from home so it is easy to either work from anywhere or have your pet at home with me! I have a schedule for my dogs and will provide your pet that during our days together. I care for pets in my own and your home like I would my own. That looks like our morning routine of breakfast and some outside time. A walk mid day, a hike after work, dinner, and lots of cuddles. My dogs love all other animals (minus cats) and are fully crate, house, and obedience trained. In your home I will follow the routine you want me to and make sure your pet is safe and comfortable no matter the situation. I also like to clean, so you’ll always come home to how you left it or better. 😊

About: I've cared for dogs all over the world. It is pleasure to get to know them, whatever their peculiar characteristic may be. I caretaked dogs on ranches in New Mexico and groomed dogs in Greece. I've walked them all over Chicago and NYC. I'm currently in aviation school and my girlfriend works from home. I would love to pet sit while I do some homework or take some walks between classes. We have big fenced-in backyard in Redmond which just got fresh sod and is super comfy. I also am always looking for an excuse to take a walk so that would be one of the perks of the job for me.

About: Hey there! I’m Nate. Unfortunately I didn’t grow up with a dog, but I’ve always loved them. Over the last 7ish years, I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds and sizes on several occasions and would be happy to take care of yours. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing, or just hanging out with your dog - whatever they’re feeling! I’m currently working part time and my schedule is very flexible/open because of that. I can accommodate to your schedule and can give your dog as much attention and care as they need. I will safely care for your pet in your home however is best for them. I want to keep their routine as normal as possible!

About: I've house sat and taken care of pets since I was in high school. I love animals and have had amazing roommates with pets of their own I've loved and cared for. I don't put myself in a dog person or cat person category. I like them both :) My schedule is very flexible right now I have transitioned out of my remotes sales tech job and enjoying a break in career. This new freedom allows me to pick up side hustles and hobbies and I'm leaning into this new phase of life. I have an open backyard although I wouldn't bring pets to my house but be available to walk and stay at the animal's home overnight if needed.

Morgan B.
“Morgan has a kind and nurturing soul. She has loved many dogs from large Pit Bulls to peanut sized puppies. She rescued her current chihuahua (Spike) and through a lot of love (and some dental work) taught him how to trust, snuggle, and live a happy healthy life. As a yoga teacher and healer, Morgan is great at reading and understanding other's needs. She is trustworthy and compassionate. More than anything, Morgan loves animals and is a fantastic dog sitter.”

Kaydinn B.

“Our dogs were calm and happy as can be after his excellent care and walks. He handled a nine month old great Dane, and a nine-year-old great Dane with Grace and ease.”

Justin M.

“Justin is terrific! He was easy to text with to set up the walk and shared great photos and updates after. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness and will definitely reach out to Justin again!”

Trista T.
“My cats and I want Trista to come back! She cared for my two sensitive indoor cats from 15 Jun - 24 Jun 2022. Trista was completely reliable, thoughtful, generous, and kind. Her communication was clear. She left the house very, very clean---and even the outdoor plants were well-tended. Trista is someone who values peace and serenity, which was exactly what my cats needed: they got closer to her than they have to almost anyone but me. It helped us that she has her own cute little bus to travel in, so she could arrive the day before my departure, get oriented, and then stay in her bus that night while I was up late, packing. For peace of mind when you're away from home, my household highly recommends Trista.”

Ally L.
“Ally has watched our dog, Haiku for the last five years. She brings a wealth of animal care knowledge, compassion, and has made at least one aspect of travel worry-free every time. She’s responsive, adaptive, and communicative through all parts of working with her, and I know Haiku loves spending time with her.”

“Michelle is a natural with dogs and humans. 😊 Willie connected with her right away, and enjoyed his walk.”

Nate L.
“During college my roommates and I had a wonderful dog named rogue. She was an energetic pit bull. Nate loved rogue. Whenever he would come over to our house he would spend most of his time playing with rogue. One spring break we needed someone to watch rogue and nate gladly offered to be rogue’s sitter. He was great with her, and any other dog for that fact. Nate always works hard and is super reliable. He would be a great asset to your team at rover.”
