Cat Sitting in Brooklyn

About: I would love to visit with your furry family members when you are busy. I love all dogs, big or small, old or young. I am available nights and weekends I come to your home or your pups can come visit mine. I can also come take your pup for a walk during lunchtime during the week. I have two fur babies that are 2 years old and they love other dogs and love to play. They are both neutered and up to date on their shots. If your pup requires a crate, I have those available too. We have 40 acres, but none of it is fenced. We like to play fetch and play in the kiddie pool when it is hot outside. Let’s set a up a pup play date.

About: I enjoy caring for cats, dogs, and even reptiles. I currently have 4 cats and a bearded dragon of my own. I have been around animals my entire life. I am able to give medicine to cats and dogs. I am able to walk dogs as well. I work full time M-F. I am available mostly on weekends for dogs but I can do drop in for cats and other animals that need only once or twice drop ins during the week. I prefer to care for a dog in their own home but will assess each request for caring in my home. My cats are not fans of dogs but I am able to separate them into their own space. I am patient and kind when caring for animals. I won’t leave a dog outside on its own and will play catch to help tire them out. I will work with the owner’s instructions for care for feeding times and anything else.

About: I have had pets my whole life. My first cat grew up with me. My parents got him while I was in Preschool. I have many fond memories of him, and used to help with his care whenever I could. I have house/dog sat for neighbors while I was growing up. I have experience raising a Pitbull, he was an awesome brindle coated sweetheart. He was my roommate's dog but I loved him as I would my own. I also raised a Shiba Inu, she was amazing. So beautiful, and loyal. She was my best friend for 14 wonderful years. Anyone who knows that breed knows that they can be especially challenging, but we got along great. I volunteer at Cascades Humane Society in Jackson. I love going there in my free time to walk dogs, cuddle or play with cats or just try to help with anything I can. Currently my close family (parents and siblings) have six dogs and six cats combined between all of us. I am also the Dogfather to some of them, and they would come to me if anything happened. Right now I have a 13 year old rescue cat named Daisy. She gets special food from the vet, and regular pills. She also gets lots of love and lap time. I also have a Norwegian Buhund puppy. He is super friendly and outgoing. I have walked dogs of all sizes and personalities. From Huskys that want to go, go, go! to lazy little dogs just want to sniff and stroll. With our own fur baby. We have a regimented feeding schedule with our cat. Breaking up her can of food into many smaller meals throughout the day to help her with her conditions. Our dog gets multiple daily walks and lots of attention as he is still just a pup and prone to “tasting” things he shouldn’t. We’re doing lots of redirection. I spent years as a maintenance man for a property management company. I also spent years as an appliance repair man. Respecting people, their homes, and furry friends is nothing new to me. I have been trying to absorb as much information about animal behavior as possible and do my best to communicate with animals in a way they understand. Giving your dog a friendly greeting is very different from how most people greet them. Some need some time and an indirect approach. Walking straight toward a dog head on is instinctually considered quite rude in canine interactions. Cats also have their own language and way of doing things. I try hard to always respect that.

About: My name is Megan and I have a huge passion for taking care of animals! I previously worked at two veterinary clinic where I was the receptionist as well as a veterinary assistant. There I helped administer medical care to all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, lizards, birds and small rodents. In addition, I have volunteered at two animal shelters where I walked dogs not only for exercise but also to increase their chances of being adopted. This included cleaning the kennels, feeding, and making sure the dogs had water, as well as play time. I also have a 5 year old kitty named Mochi and a 3 year old kitty boy named Finn, they are both playful and full of energy. This means I'm also available to take care of your kitty needs! I really enjoy being around animals and love taking care of them 💗 I always always always send photo and videos of your fur babies ! I'm currently working part-time so I have more than enough time to make sure your pet gets the amount of care and attention that it needs! I will make sure to ask in-depth questions about your pets behavior, schedule, diet etc. I am very observant and watchful of the pets I am taking care of whether that be when we are having one on one time or out in public on walks I.e. making sure that if they are giving signs of being over stimulated or feeling anxious or scared I do what I can to redirect and to make them feel and stay safe! I would love to meet your pet first if possible so they are familiar with me and that way I can gage both mine and the pets comfort level!
