About: I have grown up with dogs since I was old enough to remember. My best friend as a kid was my rottweiler Roxy, and our other dog Zeus, a Great Dane mix who lived until 12. Now, my parents have small dogs and medium sized dogs, all of which I love! I have cared for many types of animals over the course of my life and animal loving runs in my blood. I am working part time and going to school, but 2/3 days a week I work remotely. Weekends I am free all day, and any other weekday I am out of school or work by 5 pm. I care for pets as if they are my own. Giving them love, treats, walks, and mental stimulation if required. I love to go on long walks and would love a walking buddy!

Having grown up on a farm, I have worked with just about every kind of animal since I was a baby— including dogs, cats, rabbits, cows, horses, goats, poultry, pigs, alpacas, reptiles, ferrets, and much more! I was the main caretaker of the animals on the farm which has given me an abundance of hands-on experience when it comes to animal and veterinary care; including animal behaviors, training, shot administration, oral medications, medical care, etc. In my life, I have owned over 20 doggos and more kitties than I can count, from babies to seniors. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to take care of their pets since I was around 10 years old. Animals have been my passion for as long as I can remember. Your pets are my number one priority and will be treated like absolute royalty while you’re away! 👑 Over the years, I’ve worked at a veterinary clinic as an assistant, taken many classes on animal behavior and training, attended seminars and workshops about veterinary medicine, traveled to educational events about animals, and spent countless hours studying alongside veterinarians and animals. I have always dreamed of becoming a small & large animal veterinarian. I would also like to open my own pet daycare, activity center and salon in the future. I also worked for a year at a doggy day care and spa, where I learned about the different personalities and behaviors of just about every kind of dog. It was an absolutely amazing experience— and I even worked with up to 35 doggos in one day (which was awesome!!). Currently my fur babies are Koda, an Australian Kelpie mix, Maple, a GSD puppy, and Pebbles, queen of the house calico. I'm looking forward to caring for your furr babies and keeping them happy and healthy by providing drop-in visits or going for fun walks. My days and weeks are usually flexible, even on short notice. I am also normally available during holidays. Drop in visits can be up to 30 minutes, and walks can be 20, 30 or 60. I do not allow any contact without direct supervision. I DO have help at my house during boardings so keeping my son separated from timid/aggressive pets WILL NOT and HAS NOT been an issue. My house includes a LARGE partially fenced in yard (currently being redone) along with a giant cleaned spacious garage, and a big basement all used for playtimes! My house is open for free roaming . I do have two medium sized kennels and one large kennel ONLY used when double boarding and separate play times are needed! I provide the same care with in home sittings as well . About: I have experience with just about every type of pet regardless of age. I have experience with kittens and puppies as well as rescues with high care needs as well as their medication schedules. I began pet sitting when I was very young and have always loved it. I have special experience with caring for dogs with trauma and special situations. It is my privilege to meet those needs. I am available every weekday before 8:45 and every weeknight after 5pm. On weekends I have full day availability on Saturday and Sunday. Currently I am a happy lover of my two dogs and cats at home and my cat Tonka Truck. I usually begin my day with feeding and letting them out and repeat that after shifts. Apart from the usual litter box changes and feeding, it’s necessary to give my older dog medication in the middle of the day. These routines fit well in my life. I care for pets with a high degree of input from clients. While I do have a lot of experience with pet care, it is ultimately your baby and you know your pet best. Any suggestions, rules, and schedules are my privilege to abide by. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to the trauma needs of my own pets, but I am very conscious of house preferences and pet needs in clients’ homes. I am flexible with play schedules and meal times and have become efficient at administering medication from experience with my own dogs. I am also able to meet any sanitation and safety preferences during this time.

I was a veterinary technician for 20 years and I have experience with cats, dogs (large & small), fish, reptiles, and farm animals. I have one Doodle, a rescue pit bull, a chihuahua, and two cats. We had cows, ponies, and donkeys for many years but now that my son is active in sports we have retired from farm animals. I’m very experienced with all medications including but not limited to: insulin injections, eye drops, and oral medications. I walk dogs daily in Howell, Fowlerville, Stockbridge, and Brighton so normally last minute bookings are available. I hope to meet you and your friends soon! Im now a stay at home mom and I work from home. This allows for a flexible schedule for pet sitting and allows me to be available for short notice/emergency visits. I’m generally available through out the day for your pets needs. I don’t normally watch animals in my home but directions will be followed exactly for the care of your pets in your home.
