“Michael is my go-to dog sitter. He is a wonderful caretaker. He sends pictures and videos with his regular updates. My dog gets so excited whenever he sees Michael. It is such an assurance to know that our sweet boy is getting so much love and such great care while we are away. I HIGHLY recommend Michael. I'm sure that you will be as happy with him as we have been.”
“Guybrielle was soo kind and nice with Omen . This was a first to have him in someone’s home instead of just boarding inside of a facility. Our first experience was amazing ! We will definitely use her for future .”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

About: What sets me apart is that I’m a pet owner myself and understand how much our pets mean to us. I have two dogs of my own, so I know firsthand that pets are family and deserve to feel safe, loved, and comfortable when their owners are away. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic playtime and walks to giving senior dogs extra patience, attention, and care. I’m also happy to follow feeding schedules, potty routines, medication instructions, and any special instructions your pet may need. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is to care for your pets the same way I would want someone to care for mine—with lots of love, attention, and plenty of belly rubs! 🐾❤️ My Pet-Sitting Availability 🐾 I work full-time but live close to work, which allows me to come home during my lunch break to check on your pets and spend quality time with them. * Monday–Friday: Available for pet care in the mornings before work, during my lunch break, and in the evenings after work. * Overnight Care: Available any night of the week! * Saturday–Sunday: Available for boarding and extended pet care. “Porsha and her sons were absolutely wonderful! We left our pups for the weekend and Porsha set up a meet and greet beforehand which made us feel incredibly comfortable with leaving our dogs with a new sitter. She was so helpful leading up to the boarding, very responsive, sent tons of updates and pictures throughout the stay, and loved on our babies! I don’t think they ever even realized we were gone and I know they will be very excited to go back!”
“Absolutely love Janelle! She stepped in and helped us out even tho Theo wasn’t feeling too good and she helped make sure her got his medications on time and was eating well! Theo loves her and knows her home from the moment we pull in!:)”

My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for like family. I’m a SAHM and I run my own business so my day consists of running a few errands, loving up with my 5 furbabies and trying to end world hunger! My yard is not fenced however there’s ample room to run around with a leash, potty breaks and I’m happy to crate as requested. I bring my furbabies to the local fenced in dog park, I’m sure they’d love more company.
“Jake stayed with Johanna and her pack for a week. She sent updates and promptly replied to my inquiries. He’s is a snuggler and she was happy to accommodate. Will definitely ask her to keep him again.”

“Booking with Teresa was the best decision I ever made! She’s the sweetest and took the best care of my Jackie! You can tell that she genuinely cares for dogs. She even took the cutest pictures of my pup! Definitely book with her if you want to be able to have confidence that your pup is having the best care!”

“Savannah was very loving toward my girls. My dogs came home, healthy, and happy and we got regular updates from Savannah during their time with her. Will definitely rebook! She was even willing to work with us when our vacation plans changed, which was a huge relief!”
“Jennifer took such great care of my pups during their 8 day stay! This was our first trip away from them and we knew they were in great hands based on our previous daycare experiences with her. She sent us pictures and videos, kept us updated, and was always available. She is fantastic with anxious dogs (my boy is scared of everything) and treats them all like her own. She’s awesome and our #1 sitter from now on!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Brittany home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Brittany.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Brittany sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
