1. Jason L.

“Jason dog/house sat for us for a week. We have an older dog and he administered 3 different prescriptions in our absence, He was very caring, sent us daily photos and comments on how she was doing, which was great! Our house was immaculate, and evened offered to clean and take the garbage carts to the curb. If your dog needs extra care please contact Jason, we will definitely be using his services again.”

2. Bianca W.

“I would have Bianca take care of my dogs anytime! She went above and beyond!!!! She took great care of my dogs, and even went back to make sure they were OK when a massive storm rolled in and my house lost power. Truly outstanding service.”

3. Genesis L.

“Genesis is absolutely amazing! We were nervous to leave our babies with someone we didn't know, but as soon as she came over for our meet and greet, both I and the puppies adored her!! She stayed in our home with our small dogs for 5 days and took amazing care of them! She very quickly picked up on their personalities and wants/needs and took care of them accordingly - and with enthusiasm and great care. She was excellent at communication and left our home in pristine order. She definitely takes her job seriously and also truly enjoys it. We won't ever look for another dog sitter again. She's absolutely top notch! Thank you, Genesis! See you next time!”

“Louis took great care of our 3 dogs! He kept excellent communication with us, and sent us pictures. We will definitely be trusting him with our dogs and our home again!”

10. Megan S.

“I am more than happy with the service provided by Megan (and Scott). I asked they take Frank on a walk because he had been crated for a few hours, feed him and just hang out for a while. They went beyond, by taking him on 2 walks, sending several pictures of a smiley happy dog and communicating throughout the visit what Frank was up to. They are friendly, knowledgeable about dogs and training, timely and reliable. We were at ease being gone for so long knowing Frank was in good hands. I will absolutely use them again when we need someone to take care of our boy.”

About: I have taken care of cats my entire life at my own home & my grandma’s home. I have also dog sat over weekends many times at peoples houses. I currently only have one class M/W and two classes T/TH, so I have a lot of free time in my hands to make sure your pet is getting the attention and love they deserve! We have a fairly large backyard area that could be great for going potty, and an unused fenced in soccer field across the street for more free play time!

12. Ariel F.

14. Ava L.
About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve had 4 dogs at one time with 2 cats. I love being around animals and have experience in watching dogs. I have volunteered many times at the animals shelter by my home. I currently have a part time job so I can definitely fit watching pets into my schedule. I understand the need for care and am willing to try to fit your pet into my schedule I would provide a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for the pet. I would make sure the pet has water and food at all times. I would make sure the pet also takes all the medications if needed. Depending on the pets needs I would make sure there is time for exercise and play. For my home I would make sure the pet has a clean and safe environment. For the pet owners homes I would make sure to follow all instructions whether it’s feeding and medication instructions or behavioral techniques. I would make sure the animal is able to build trust and a good bond to make sure the pet is comfortable under my care.

About: I have worked in a kennel for two years. It has given me valuable skills on how to work with dogs and understand them better. I am a student athlete and a double major so I am a little busy! However I’ll always be able to make time for pets. I will most likely be available middle of the day. It will most likely range from each pet. Each animal needs a different type of love. I would ask about your dog and want to know what they like and don’t like, so I can make sure they are happy.

20. Madison M.
About: As a dedicated animal enthusiast with a lifelong passion for pet care, I bring plenty of experience and genuine love for animals to my role at Rover. Growing up in a household teeming with rescues, my love for animals started at a very young age, thanks to my mother's involvement in wildlife rescue. Throughout my journey, I have honed my pet care skills through various avenues, including my time at Mott Community College, where I balanced my academic pursuits with providing dedicated care to a loyal canine companion for two years. This job included daily walks/runs that averaged 2-3 miles, 5 times a week for 30 minutes to an hour. This experience not only showcased my reliability and commitment but also deepened my understanding of canine behavior and needs. To add, I attended Mott Community College in 2021-2023 and played softball during my time there. This allowed me to push myself physically and able to provide good exercise for animals and able to keep up. My time on the field cultivated a strong sense of discipline and determination. This also highlights my attributes that serve me well in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of the pets under my care. Whether its engaging in high-energy play sessions, going for long walks or providing assistance to pets with special needs, my physical strength enables to meet the demands of even the most active and energetic companions with ease and enthusiasm. Academically, I hold an Associate's degree in General Studies, reflecting my diverse interests and commitment to learning. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Psychology at Central Michigan University, with my academic background enriching my approach to pet care, allowing to leverage insights into animal behavior and cognition to better understand and cater to her furry charges' individual needs. At home, my personal experience with the animals I currently own serve as a testament to my unwavering dedication to animal welfare. With four dogs, seven cats, three birds, and a lizard, my household is a bustling sanctuary where each creature receives the love, attention, and care they deserve. Living on a lakefront property with ample land, my home provides an ideal setting for pets to thrive, offering ample space for exploration, play, and relaxation in a safe and nurturing environment. Now, as I return home for the summer, I am eagerly looking forward to extending my passion for animal care beyond my personal domain and experience, seeking opportunities to share my expertise and affection with other beloved pets in the community. With my extensive experience, academic background, and genuine love for animals, I am more than equipped to provide top-notch care and companionship to furry friends of all shapes and sizes. Whether it's daily walks, cozy cuddle sessions, or personalized care routines, my compassionate approach ensures that every pet under my watch receives the attentive care and affection they deserve. With my current focus on pursuing my Master's degree in Psychology at Central Michigan University, I have the flexibility to dedicate ample time and attention to providing exceptional pet care. When it comes to safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for pets, I prioritize several key elements in both my own home and my clients' homes: Secure Environment: I ensure that the physical environment is safe and secure for pets, minimizing potential hazards and risks. This includes pet-proofing spaces, securing fences, and removing any toxic substances or objects that could pose a danger to pets. Supervision and Monitoring: Whether in my own home or at a client's residence, I maintain constant supervision and monitoring of pets to prevent accidents and address any emerging concerns promptly. This includes being attentive during playtime, monitoring interactions between pets, and staying vigilant during outdoor activities. Clear Communication: I maintain open and transparent communication with pet owners to establish trust and ensure their peace of mind. This includes providing regular updates on their pet's well-being, any notable behaviors or concerns, and adhering to any specific instructions or preferences regarding care routines. Comfort and Familiarity: I strive to create a comfortable and familiar environment for pets, whether they're in my home or their own. This includes providing cozy bedding, favorite toys, and maintaining consistent routines to minimize stress and anxiety. Respect for Boundaries: I respect the boundaries and preferences of both pets and their owners. This includes honoring any restrictions on access to certain areas of the home, respecting feeding schedules and dietary restrictions, and ensuring that pets feel comfortable and secure in their surroundings.
