About: Since childhood, I've been trusted to look after other people's pets. I grew up with dogs of my own, as well as animals of all kinds, so I have a lot of experience with pets of all personalities and temperaments. I also worked with a vet for three years, have a biology degree with an emphasis on animal science, and have a special needs pet myself, so I'm confident giving medications, maintaining any recovery care, or whatever else your dog may need. I'd love to be friends with your pup! I am self-employed and currently work from home most of the week, so I have some flexibility when it comes to scheduling! I am available for drop-in visits or walks Monday-Friday. As all of my services will take place in the client's home, I will follow any instructions that the client gives me in regards to pet care. It is my goal that your pet's routine is as uninterrupted as possible.

My current schedule varies, but I typically work 7-hour shifts on Sundays and Mondays. On the these dates, I can manage pet care for all dogs that have a wait period to be let out 4-8 hrs. If necessary, I have the flexibility to call off work to ensure your pets are well taken care of. From Tuesday to Saturday, I have open availability, allowing me to dedicate ample time to pet care activities, such as walks, feeding, and playtime. This arrangement helps me balance work commitments while ensuring your pets receiving the attention and care they need. I ensure to follow detailed instructions provided by the client to meet the specific needs of their dog. For instance, if a dog is anxious during thunderstorms, I am proactive in reaching out via call or text to discuss calming strategies. Additionally, I always clarify any boundaries regarding what I can handle or access in the home and to build a stronger rapport, I will arrange pre-sitting meetings with clients to better understand their preferences and to bond with their dog(s).

I was also concerned about her eating….she’s an old cat and at times, even with me, she won’t eat. Myra always took pictures of of her food and water bowls. And that made me feel more at ease. Myra let me know immediately that one day she was going to a little bit later….which I was absolutely okay with. It was though very appreciated that she let me know. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for 3 years, used to watch my neighbors, I enjoy doing things your pet loves and enjoys whenever needed. I work part time as a Vet Tech at Calvert Animal Hospital, looking to make a little extra money and I can come when you need me to, I get off usually around 7. Although my pet is not as friendly with others, I can easily separate the two while still tending to both. I will let you know if there is ever a problem but I’m sure there won’t be.
