About: I have had dogs all my life (and cats occasionally!) They need us so much - they are innocent souls like our children that depend on care & love. I work from home so I'm available at all times with great opportunity to hold/care and insure they are feeling calm & secure, well fed, and welcome at all times. I have had my own dogs/cats for 40 years. My dog, Julia, is 2 yrs. old and extremely well trained in all aspects. I live in an apartment that is 50 feet from a back open area of trees & ponds. I also have a fenced dog play area for those who are not accustomed to being leashed and need to run. I currently work from home so I may provide constant oversight & care. My dog, Julia, is extremely friendly without any aggressive behaviors. I can crate your pet should you feel that's required per your specifications. I live in a clean & welcoming apartment with my Pomeranian, Julia. We have a dog park/run/free roam area that I use constantly. In many cases, I feel it's important to bond with your pet by spending personal attention to them upon arrival. Giving a soothing voice, providing calming energy, toys, bones, & cleanliness is incredibly important for their care.

11. Lisa Ann M.

“Lisa Ann was great with my Golden Retriever Cosmo. He got along great with her 2 yellow labs. She sent me photos and updates to let me know how he was doing. She has a beautiful fenced yard overlooking a lake. Thank Lisa Ann! We hope to have you care for Cosmo again soon!”

12. Valerie & Douglas R.

“Cannot say enough about this loving family and their dog, Arthur. My goldendoodle really enjoyed his time playing and going for walks. Their young children are so sweet and polite...very gentle, experienced dog sitters. Valerie responded quickly to my messages, sending photos throughout the day. Look no further if you need a conscientious sitter that will keep your canine companion happy and safe!”

13. Cassandra G.

“Cassandra is awesome. We are visiting and had no idea what to do with Gordo since we were afraid to leave him in the hotel alone and wanted to make a cubs game. We contacted on short notice but Cassandra responded quickly and took great care of our fur baby.”

14. Teresa N.

“Teresa and her husband were incredibly accommodating when it came down to my last minute schedule. My dog had a blast with all of theirs, and promptly fell asleep a minute after getting into the truck to go home. I was kept up to date with pics and videos throughout her time there to let me know she was ok and having a great time. I'll absolutely be using them again to care for my dog, they were absolutely terrific.”

15. Elizabeth Y.

“Tails was SO happy at Elizabeth's! She had so much room outside to explore and run around and a few friends to play with! Will definitely be bringing her back in the future!”

16. Diamond G.

“We were visiting Dubuque and needed care for our dog while we did a few non dog friendly things. We found Diamond! She was quick to respond and took wonderful care of our dog. Diamond was active with Golde by taking her on several walks. She kept in contact with us the entire time. Highly recommend her and will definitely use her again when in the area.”

17. Karen K.

“Our dog, Gibbs, loves going to daycare at Karen’s house! We can’t even mention the word ‘daycare’ unless we are heading out the door or he will be begging to get in the car.”

18. Sean M.
“The Mulligans did a great job watching our French Brittany, Mully! Thanks, she seemed to enjoy her stay. Their dogs mixed well with our Mully, she seemed to fit right in.”

19. Michele D.
“I have known Michele as a friend for over 30 years and we were room-mates when I lived in the States. She is very caring person with a particular love of animals. When I last visited her she had saved the life of a flying squirrel and was meticulously caring for it and getting up in the night to feed and care for the animal. I was very moved by the way she took care of the flyting squirrel. She is very focussed, gentle and responsible towards animals. I would higly recommend her as a loving pet caregiver.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and i have always loved all animals and have always wanted to care for animals. I have in my house 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 1 rabbit and turtles. All the animals in the house get along with all animals. I looking forward to hearing for you and working something out! I work from home Monday-Friday, I would be able to check on animals after my hours of work and if the animals come to my home they will be let out as often as they need to be I have a huge fenced in yard and three dogs for your fur baby's to play with, your fur baby's would also have some children to tire them out!
