“Esequias and Lisa are wonderful. Our fur baby is 3 years old and had never been with anyone but us. They alleviated any fears we had. Esequias came to our house to meet us and Hook, then we dropped him at their house for a few hours to see how he would adjust. They even picked him up when it was time for us to leave on our trip. They sent pics while we were gone. They treated him like one of their own. I will definitely be booking with them again.”

“Michele was the perfect sitter for Micky! She sent lots of pictures and updates. Played with him a lot outside and gave him so much love! Will definitely be rebooking😁”

“I am a basket case when it comes to leaving my dogs for vacation because I don't trust anyone to pet sit in my house or feel assured that they would take care of my dogs the way I would. I'm a big believer that pets are members of the family. Their comfort, their health, and minimizing their level of stress are important to my wife and I. In the past, whenever I make reservations for vacation, I expect them to be with my kids and NEVER IN A KENNEL OR FACILITY with other stressed out barking dogs. They are my babies!!! You know what I mean. Recently, we visited my daughter at her college dorm where dogs aren't allowed and I was distraught. Hence, this review. I need to give a big SHOUT OUT to Mary's pet services because MARY IS AMAZING. My dogs are welcomed into her home, an environment with a professional handler (i.e. Mary) plus interactive kids who love the dogs! I couldn't be happier leaving my babies with them again and at short notice. Also, the price was reasonable. Another rocking 5 stars for Mary's pet service. Under Mary's care, my pets were not only safe, but my mind was at ease (especially with my 17 yearly grandma dog). Priceless.”

“Can’t say enough about how wonderful Richard is! He helped me in a short notice pinch and was so kind. He took amazing care of my Maia, every picture and video showed her so happy with her tail wagging like crazy. He walked her often and loved on her like she was his own. If that wasn’t awesome enough he came to the rescue again when my flight was extremely delayed and kept Maia for an extra night. Richard is an excellent communicator with frequent updates so I was able to enjoy my holidays stress free. He has a heart of gold and I will definitely use him again. Your pet couldn’t be in better hands with Richard!”

“Courtney and her family were SO good with our girl! They welcomed her right into the family and took excellent care of her! I have no doubt we will use Courtney again to care for Ellie Mae.”

“This was our first experience of having our dog stay over at someone's house. They did a great Job acculmating our pet with a pre- visit. They are a great family you can tell they love animal there dog was a great fit for our dog. They sent picture of our dog and gave us text updates as well. We will definetely be using them again .”

I'm super vigilant about the safety and the health of every animal so be assured your baby will be looked after! “Angel was amazing! She gave us daily updates and pictures of our pup. It’s clear that she’s very knowledgeable about dogs and cares about them very much. Next time I go out of town I’ll be looking to see if Angel is available to watch our pup again!”

“Our dog Poppy really enjoyed her stay here. We got daily photos that always put a smile on our face. They were very flexible on drop off and pickup times which was extremely helpful for us as a busy family. We would definitely recommend again!”

“Shirley was absolutely wonderful! She was able to watch our Goldendoodle, Cleo, on very short notice, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment we dropped Cleo off, Shirley provided updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Cleo was well cared for, happy, and in great hands the entire time. We truly appreciated the love and attention Shirley gave our sweet pup. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter. Thank you again, Shirley!”

“Stacy was wonderful. He took really good care of our elderly dog and made her comfortable in every way. He sent updates and pictures throughout our time away, which gave us lots of piece of mind that she was being well taken care of. When you meet him you can see the love for pets that he has and that he will take care of your pet as his own. We will definitely be booking with him in the future.”

“Our two dogs always have a great time with Jennifer and her family! They get so excited when we pull into the neighborhood. I know I don’t have to worry about them during their visit.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
