About: I’m a pet mom currently to two rescue cats, (one is 12 years and one is 2 years old) and one rescue dog (9 years old). I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and have a particular love for rescues. My neighbors cats often sleep over at my house (with their parent’s permission, of course). It’s a zoo but everyone is happy with the arrangement. I look forward to meeting and caring for your babies. I’m a social worker currently taking a break from this important work. I am available to care for your pets at most hours. I can do up to 3 walks a day if needed for your dogs depending on how far away you live from me. My cats each have a litter box of their own which I scoop in the morning and at night. My dog is trained to use puppy pads in emergencies and is walked in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. We have 3 running fountains with drinking water which the cats particularly enjoy.
About: Semi-retired Medical professional, but never retired animal lover. From birth through now I have always had a dog, cat, I love horses especially although I've never owned one. In my previous pet sitting jobs I've been asked to take care of dogs cats goats rabbits, horses and a turtle. Oh and a parrot! My dog Bella and I walk several times a day, she and I are Avid walkers. About: Because of my loving concern that I have for my very own dog, it really makes me one of the perfect candidates. I love my 🐕 he's rotten to the core. I am currently working a very stressful schedule which does not allow me the time that I would seriously love to have to spend with more or to care for that of others. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
