About: I am typically able to house sit on weekends starting Friday night after work! Please message for further details. Growing up I would nanny and pet sit on a regular basis, I understand pets and children should have the same amount of care as they do when they are with their parents. I recently have moved to Georgia from Maryland where I worked at a veterinary hospital along many fur babies. I have two dogs and a cat of my own and understand the needs of the animals. I have an open schedule at the moment and am available when ever you would need care. I would like to keep the pets to a similar schedule if possible. I am open to house sitting, drop ins, or walking. I have reliable transportation and will communicate when I am arriving at your house and follow any rules of the house.

About: I have cared for animals most of my life starting with my own pets. I have experiences in clinical settings that influence my behavior towards animals. I’m currently in the process of receiving my bachelors degree in animal science and I’ve been trained in dog behavior and handling. I’m currently working on my bachelor’s degree and have some extra time to care for your pets! I’m available mornings and afternoons or possibly anytime requested my the client. Caring for your pets as I would my own. Any needs and routines that involve the clients pets would be upholded. Ensuring every pet is happy, healthy and safe would be the number one priority!
About: Hi, I’m Nova! I have had pets quite literally since I was born. Birds, rodents, dogs, cats, even frogs, you name it! I’ve always loved all animals since I was very young and am passionate about making sure they get the care they need. I’m very used to having to deal with dogs of all temperaments. I have cared for dogs who struggle with loud noise and being alone as well as reactive dogs. I’m very empathetic and will absolutely prioritize their care! As a current college student, most of my time is dedicated to school. While this does limit the amount of time I have to dedicate to your pets, I’d love to care for them during breaks or if our schedules work out during the school year! When in a clients home, I respect the space as much as possible. For services such as drop ins or walks, I only do what’s absolutely necessary to care for your pets. For house sitting, I’m grateful to be able to share whatever space there is available with your pets!

About: Hello! I’m an animal lover who grew up with both a female and a male dog, both about 8 years old. Recently, our third dog passed away at 16 due to some age-related health complications, so I have experience with senior dogs as well. I also have both a female and a male cat that are about 12 and 5 years old, respectively. I have experience pet-sitting for both family and neighbors. I’ve pet-sat small dogs, such as a French bulldog and a Boston terrier, as well as larger breeds, such as an American yellow Labrador and a Great Dane. All the friends and family members I have pet sat for have cats as well. I’m currently between jobs as I’m transitioning to studying for a graduate school entrance exam. My schedule is open and will revolve around your fur babies. I’m a morning person, but I will gladly take evening walks. I'm mainly looking for dog-walking opportunities, but I am open to short-term pet sitting. I do have my cat at my apartment, so I would only be able to do drop-in visits and walks otherwise.
About: I have multiple years of experience pet sitting and boarding dogs and other animals. I also volunteer with an animal rescue, and my home is connected to our farm, giving me extensive hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to seniors. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re with me. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d love to care for your pet! I work full-time from home, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, maintain consistent feeding and potty schedules, and respond to their individual needs as they arise. Your pet will have regular companionship, supervision, and care rather than being left alone for long periods. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. In my home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play, including a large house and a fenced yard for safe outdoor time. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I always listen closely to pet parents’ preferences and do my best to accommodate any specific care requests.
About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember and absolutely love caring for them and feel very passionate about helping with there every need. I am currently attending college as a pre-nursing major. When i’m not attending classes I enjoy caring for animals and helping care for there needs. I have a love for playing and keeping your pets company as well as taking them on walks and letting them out for potty breaks.
About: Since I was 13 we have had dogs and animals in our home. I’ve trained them, walked them, fed them, and snuggled with them. I’ve also volunteered at the humane society walking dogs that spent their time there. I am currently doing school in the summer but if you contact me with times I can see if it works with my schedule! :) I currently rent a home and take care of my two pups there. I usually do stop in visits at my clients home and just take care of the animal in the way it is requested!

“Hajir was extremely caring and tender to my pet. I am outsider as I have never see specialized care to this degree. I HIGHLY recommend booking Hajir for your next walk or house sit for dog or cat. She is respectful and attentive to pets in the best possible manner!”
About: I've been taking care of pups for over 15 yrs now. At first my own pups, but then I would help out friends and family with their pups while they went on vacations and/or traveled for work. My family says I have a kinship with dogs as most dogs naturally get a long with me. Sometimes I can calm the most excitable pup and have them relax in my lap. I work pretty early in the morning. I'm usually home by 10-11 am. I have a pretty good schedule regarding feeding and potty breaks. I tend to take the pups out for walking and play I have a fenced back yard and a dog park near by. I can take your fur babies to the park or on walks regularly. I currently have 2 pups myself, they are well trained and have a pretty steady routine (food and potty breaks). They get along well with other dogs, no biting or aggression. They do set boundaries though. NO humping.
About: I have been a dog lover since my first dog followed me home at the age of 6 (and he was a full size Doberman of all things). I currently have a German Shepherd, Pit bull Mix, Husky Mix, Chihuahua Mix and an Orange Tabby so I'm used to animals of all sizes and temperaments. My poor Pit Mix has allergies, my GSD has hip dysplasia and my Chihuahua has a heart condition, so I'm well versed in special needs! I do research constantly and spend lots of time talking to our vet about how I can make their lives, and mine, easier. I'd love to put all that knowledge to work for your fur babies! I know CPR for dogs and even keep a doggie first aid kit in my car! Just in case. I do my best to make sure my presence is felt as little as possible in your home but that your baby gets all the attention they need and deserve! I'm currently dog and cat grooming only on Fridays and Saturdays. So usually Sun-Thurs its just me and my pets living our best lives. I have a two acre property that we constantly explore and we love to go swimming at the nearby lake! I do my best to be as unintrusive as possible when in you're home! Letting me know their favorite toys and activities do make things easier for us to bond! I have a fully fenced in half acre with another acre and a half we can explore while leashed! There are cows, chickens and other animals on the farm next door so there's plenty of sights (and smells)!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Brashear. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Brashear after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
