I previously worked as a veterinary technician, so I’m very comfortable handling dogs with a wide range of needs, including safely administering medications and recognizing subtle changes in behavior or health. Beyond that, I have personal experience training dogs, including puppies, so I can reinforce good habits, basic commands, and positive behaviors while they’re in my care. I’m also attentive to senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra patience, or specialized support. Most importantly, I take the time to really get to know each dog—their personality, quirks, energy level, and what makes them feel safe and happy. Whether your dog thrives on physical activity, needs mental stimulation, or just wants extra love and reassurance, I adjust my care to fit them. I live in a home with a large yard and use long leads to give dogs the freedom to safely sniff, explore, and enjoy their environment at their own pace. My goal is always to create a calm, enriching, and loving experience so your dog feels completely at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work on my own schedule, which gives me the flexibility to be fully present and attentive to each dog in my care. I’m able to plan my day around their needs—whether that means regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or just spending quality time with them. Because of this flexibility, I’m not rushing in and out or trying to squeeze care into a busy schedule. I can provide consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day, making sure each dog feels comfortable, engaged, and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my top priority is always their safety and comfort. I treat every animal as if they were my own, with the utmost love, patience, and responsibility. In my home, I provide a calm, secure environment where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and rest, and I make sure each dog gets the right balance of activity, mental stimulation, and affection based on their individual needs. My yard allows for safe outdoor time, and I’m always attentive and supervising. In a client’s home, I respect your pet’s established routine to help them feel as comfortable as possible in their familiar space. I follow all care instructions closely, keep their environment clean and safe, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship while you’re away. No matter the setting, I focus on building trust, paying attention to each pet’s unique personality, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs, since I was a kid. I understand they are your children. I am comfortable giving oral meds, comfortable learning other routes of medication administration if needed. Currently will only board cats from the same home or young puppies (message for more details) at a time due to other animals in the house. Your fur baby will have their very Owen room with a gate door that is about 6ft tall to keep them safe and comfortable when I am not watching them or letting them out for play time. I will follow your set schedule for feedings and play time. If I am boarding an animal they are my soul focus till pick up time. I offer daily or every other day pictures/video updates of your pet, my phone is always on so you can always reach me about any concerns. I have one cat and two dogs in the house. They will remain separated from your animal at all times for safety and comfort of your beloved pet. All animals in the house are fully vaccinated including kennel cough. I will not accept boarding of unvaccinated cats & dogs for safety.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: Ever since I was born my family always had lots of pets! I’ve taken care of all different breeds of dogs and cats. I care for all of my family’s pets when they’re away. I am a very easy going person who just loves animals and am a good care taker! I’m currently going to school for nursing and I am working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets! I love spending time with animals so this is a great fit for me I currently have 2 cats, Knox and Mako. Knox is as sweet as can be and mako is just a kitten still but she’s a cuddle bug.

“Toktam was a loving, sensitive angel when it came to the way she took care of our little Puerto Rican rescue pup Maisie. Maisie is quite wary of new people, but to my delight and surprise, the second day we dropped her off Maisie smiled a doggie smile usually reserved for only three family members (me, my daughter and my husband) and happily rushed to Toktam's front yard gate to see her! Wow! That was a first. I have had really good experiences with Rover but this one was the absolute best because even though I am a worry wart and very protective of our sensitive, formerly traumatized little street dog Maisie, once I met Toktam, I was immediately comfortable, confident and relieved that she would be in the best of hands for her four days of daycare. About: My whole life I was never able to have pets up until two years ago which is when I got my first girl, Jojo. She changed my life completely and so I had to get her a sister. My love for them is unmatched and even though I don’t have training what I do have is unconditional love and plenty of free time. I recently resigned from my job so I do not have a work schedule to work around so I am able to give my pets as well as yours all the attention and care that they need. I do have a fenced yard so if they need to go outside for potty or play there is no risk of them running off. I also two dogs at home as previously mentioned but I do have a dog gate inside if your pet needs some alone time. I separate my dogs during meal times and sometimes just to give individual attention. Both my dogs are girls and they are sweet and very playful.

About: I used to dog walk a couple dogs. Then I moved onto horses. So I know I can handle the hardest canines. They’re fun to have around. I’m working but also just thinking about doing this instead. Work gets boring and this wouldn’t. I love animals and they tend to love me back. I have a giant yard. They can’t be off leash but we can have fun running in the grass. I have animals that will stay upstairs when the dog or cat is here.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of dogs since I was a young child. Neighbors, family and friends have all asked me to pet sit! I now have a 2 year old rescue name Genny! She is very sweet, a big girl at 95lbs but extremely submissive in all situations! She would love a play mate and extra walks! Work from home M-F. On my lunch we always take a walk usually about 2 miles and Genny get plenty of potty breaks and outdoors time! I can follow any type of specific feeding plan and can ensure walks and outdoor time are a focus! I love dogs and would want to make sure your pet was taken care of they way I would want Genny to be!

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

We just got a new doggie pool for the heat, and have a pop up agility course to play in.Parks nearby is Knox farm, memorial Park, BurchField and more. My car/dog mobile is set up with dog seatbelts so we can safely drive to our next fun destination( if approved by owner). I'm a Licensed Veterinary Technician and have been working in the animal industry for over 15 years. I am able to give quality attention and care all day. License is available upon request. Proof of vaccines and flea/tick prevention required PRIOR to drop off. I try to take only one dog but there may be an overlap of a boarding client and daycare client. Are you looking for someone who can stay with your fur baby and not be kenneled? I'm your woman. Prices may vary dependent on the needs of the client and how extensive it may be. I try to give an enriching environment for all pets that I'm caring for, but if they are more mellow, then I'm very good at snuggling. I enjoy outdoor activities and love to bring any dog who wants to explore nature with me. I can take your dog out on multiple leashed walks a day. We can go to a nearby park or sunbathe on my porch. I treat all pets like they are my own family member.

About: Since our 1st family dog as a child our house has always been filled with furry paws. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from small to large. I am a childcare provider who is working part time. I have lots of free time during the day to care for your special furry friend. I work part time so have lots of free time to get out and go for walks during the day in all types of weather. We will enjoy walks in the neighborhood, or sometimes go on the trails and hike or even beach walks. If you have more then 1 dog that's not a problem at all.
