Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Braidwood
We are new to the area and had our old sitter for years. Finding a new sitter was very nerve-wracking. Anthony made us feel at ease immediately. One of our dogs can be selective with men due to her past before we adopted her. She only took about 10 minutes during the first meeting to deem him not just acceptable, but demanded pets. He truly put us at ease while we were away and he took great care of our crew. 100% recommend Anthony!!!

Izzy had sat for us twice now and we could not be happier! She arrived promptly at the times we discussed, plus she helped out with a few other things such as garbage, mail, etc. We have complete trust with Izzy in our home while we are gone and with the wonderful care she gave my pets. Even my standoff female kitty made friends with her before her visits were over and this kitty ONLY likes my husband and I. ☺️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
