Leanne was amazing with Koda! From the start, she gave me a full tour of her home and made sure we were aligned on Koda’s needs. Her space is perfect—huge backyard for him to run around, and she sent daily photo and video updates that put me at ease. She was super transparent about her work schedule but also very flexible—she came home as needed to let him out and was home most of the time. Her child also helped care for Koda, which was a bonus since he loves kids! What really gave me peace of mind was seeing the look in Koda’s eyes and his happy tail. He was clearly loved, well-fed, and comfortable—especially impressive since it was our first time using a sitter. The fact that he was eating, playing with other dogs, and enjoying himself made my trip completely stress-free. I’d absolutely book with Leanne again. Highly recommend!

Went out of town for the 4th and Zeus had never been away from us. These ladies were amazing! Zeus was greatly taken care of. They sent pictures kept us updated, very responsive when we texted to check on him. We will be using them from now on when we come to town. Thank you ladies for taking such good care of our Zeus.

About: I will treat your dog(s) like it is one of mine. My dogs are like my kids and I give them only the best. I have raised many dogs growing up and now as a adult. I currently have three wonderful dogs. I am available during the week most days, as I work from home a few days a week. I have taken my dogs to training classes and continue to follow up with training as much as I can. I know how much pet parents care about their family members. So go for a night out or a weekend away, I have your and your family member covered while you are gone. I currently work from home so I am available throughout the day. I am available on the weekends as well to take walks as needed. I have a lead runner at home if needed but usually like to walk the dogs on a leash when taking potty breaks and needing exercise.

About: Hi there! My name is Abbie, and I have over 20 years of experience in pet care. I grew up on a farm so I know plenty about all sorts of critters but my favorite will always be dogs. I have four dogs at home now, my beagle Trixie who I've had since I was 16, a shih tzu rescue named Wylee, a 3-year-old basset hound named Ranger and our newest edition is a cute curly tailed Klee Kai puppy named Stella that I got for my toddler daughter. All of my dogs are vaccinated and very well trained. I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of time to take care of your pets! I work from home full time and have multiple breaks a day as well as a one hour lunch. I am able to let pets outside for potty breaks anytime during the day. If you have an active pet that requires walks I am more than happy to do so after I get off work at 5:00 p.m. My pets typically eat twice a day once in the morning and once at night, but can accommodate any of your pets normal food schedules. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run around and all four of my dogs are extremely friendly and have always welcomed other dogs into our home I will care for and treat your your fur baby as if they were mine, nothing but the best loving care!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
