About: I've helped care for animals since my childhood. Recently, I cared for my senior dog, Ziggy, until his passing. Currently, I volunteer with Mountaineers 4 Mutts by cleaning cat kennels, socializing cats, and transporting animals. I currently work part-time and I enjoy caring for animals of my friends and family. I help out when I can and make sure their pets receive the best care. With my past pet Ziggy, I would always make sure he had water and food. I'd make sure he was comfortable and feeling alright. I made sure to take him out immediately when he let me know he had to go. Some days we went for walks and car rides, while other days we'd cuddle on the couch.

About: I have grown up taking care of many different breeds and ages over the past 19 years from puppies to seniors up to 16. I'm experienced with house training, obedience training, and medication administration (including insulin shots for diabetic dogs). I've had the privilege of pet sitting for many friends, family and neighbors, which has included potty breaks, baths, walks, feeding, and some grooming. All pets I look after always receive lots of attention and lots of lovins, as I treat other's pets I am looking after like they're my own. :) I am in between jobs at the moment, so I have a lot of free time on my hands that I would love to spend taking care of fur babies! -If boarded at my home, I live in a townhouse that is pet friendly and includes surrounding yard areas. I share it with my adopted 6 year old fur baby, Ellie, that is a red lab mix. She is caught up on all vaccines, spayed and sees the vet regularly. Ellie is an absolute sweetheart to all dogs and people she is around. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
