“Caroline was super helpful and flexible as we rolled into town to check out the Arch and needed a dog walker/sitter for our Goober. She had great communication and was excellent to work with!”

“Tammy has been doing daily weekday walks with my dog about about two months now and does a fantastic job. She treats my dog with love and care and is very reliable. In rare cases when a scheduling conflict came up, she let me know well in advance so I could plan for it. I couldn’t ask for a better person to walk my dog.”

“Did a great job caring for my pup! Gave her long walks, updated well, showed up on time, and hassle free with instructions for building access and care for my pup.”

“Niah has been a wonderful part of Princeton Antonio’s daily routine, and he gets extra excited whenever she arrives! She’s energetic, caring, and incredibly thoughtful. One of the things I appreciate most is how she always sends me sweet photos of Princeton that I can share with my mother in Chicago (who, by the way, adores her St. Louis-based grand-dog). Rain or shine, Niah shows up every evening without fail. Her dependability and connection with Princeton have been incredibly helpful while I've been recovering from a broken ankle. She has my highest recommendation to anyone who needs a dog walker or pet sitter.”

“Ugur was friendly and took all 4 of our pups for a walk while we visited the Gateway Arch. They were happy and well taken care of. Great experience and definitely recommend him for help with your pups.”

“Lara is great - she handles my large dog with ease - he can be leash reactive and that requires expertise. And she is consistent and timely and reliable. What else could you ask for?”

About: I am a volunteer dog walker at a local shelter so I have lots of experience with walking and handling all sorts of dogs. I have a 14 year old Husky mix and 6 year old Alaskan Husky. The older guy has slowed down and needs some more tender loving care these days, so I definitely have some special needs/senior experience. The 6 year old girl is very active and gets around 4 miles of walks each day. Seeing the joy on their faces when asked if they want to go for a walk melts my heart. I don't have cats, but I TNR'd four feral cats in the neighborhood and feed and interact with them every morning. In the past, I've also cared for friends' cats when they went out of town - feeding, cleaning litter box, etc. I have a remote sales job which allows me to be very flexible. I volunteer every Friday morning from 8AM-11AM which is the only time I'm not available on a weekly basis. When walking my own dogs (and the shelter dogs for that matter), I'm very cognizant of broken glass on the sidewalks, discarded food and trash, and any other obstacles that tend to come up in the city. I know every dog is different and make sure to follow directions given when walking your pup.

“Communication is key and Jamie is on point with this. He keeps us updated when on walks with Cosmo and we SO appreciate that! We are definitely repeat customers!”

About: I've had my own pets since 1991. I had a rabbit and dog in college and have learned over the decades how to best care for our friends. I've just retired from a busy career, so I know how important it is to find someone to care for your animals when you're away; even if it's just the gym or happy hour after work. I've fostered for several area rescues and know folks have a different idea of appropriate care. I only use fear free methods, because our animals need to know they can trust us. I've had young high energy dogs who need play and long walks and I've cared for my dogs in their last years when they needed additional care or special medical needs including pills, dressings, eye drops and carrying older dogs who aren't as mobile anymore. I would love to get to know your pets and help you give them the best life. I'm currently retired and searching for part time employment. I don't mind early or late night visits since our dogs don't have a 9 to 5 schedule. I do have an active social and volunteering schedule but it's flexible enough to accommodate your needs. I have cared for many dogs who need to be crated or who are door dashers and escape artists. I have a calm energy that helps put pets at ease. I'm a fan of high value treats to make the crate a special place. My personal dogs are crate trained but I know that's not for everyone.

“Jessica is amazing! Maggie absolutely loves her. She is so sweet and communicative and knows how to handle my anxious dog. She’s also very flexible and takes the best pictures to send me. We feel very lucky to have found Jessica!!”

“I had a last minute need for a dog walker Kyani was available and met us same day so she could walk her the next day. She was very caring and great with my dog!”

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs my entire life. I was a toddler when my family got our first of 3 cats and a dog. In 2017, my roommate adopted a dog and I played a huge role in taking care of him — from feeding, taking him out, going on walks, baths, and more! Since moving to St. Louis I’ve dog sat for two families in my apartment. This was my first time meeting the dogs and having this experience and it was great. I love helping others while getting to spend time with animals! Currently I work remotely/hybrid 30-40 hours a week so I have a lot of flexibility to fit pet care into my schedule! I can take breaks at work for walks, play, feedings, etc. but also hang out at the house with the pet. I’m very big on following directions at others home so I can respect the space and keep everyone safe. In my own home, I don’t have a backyard so the dog will always be on a leash outside. Inside, I always make sure nothing is on the floor or tempting for a pet to eat/chew on, keep food away, and ensure doors are closed to avoid them getting into areas they shouldn’t be.

“Danielle was very responsive and provided plenty of details on the walk! Will definitely reach out to her first for any additional dog walking needs!”

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life — dogs of all ages, guinea pigs, fish, and more. I truly enjoy giving animals love, attention, and fun! With no evening classes this semester, I have plenty of flexibility in the mornings. Walking dogs fits perfectly into my routine, and I enjoy starting the day active and outdoors. I give dogs freedom to sniff, stroll, and play at their pace—always sticking to their routine and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

“Nancy was great. Took the time to understand the needs of our rescue pup. Left detailed report of their walk and encounter. Would definitely book again.”

Amy H.
“I couldn’t be happier with our experience with Amy! From the moment she met my dogs Iko and Clinton, it was clear they had a natural connection. Iko (Border Collie) can be a little pushy at first, but Amy was incredibly patient, kind, and gentle, which kept him calm and behaved. She went above and beyond in caring for Clinton—taking the time for walks, playtime, and even sending regular updates on administrations of his medicine. It was obvious she truly cared and paid attention to both of their needs and personality. I came home to healthy dogs and everything was in great shape. I would absolutely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring for their pets.”
