“I am so grateful to have come across Donte here on Rover. I have an almost 3 year old Pit mix that I rescued. And Pit's just have a stereotype about them, so most people don't want to watch them. So far, Lola has been with the same boarder, but they are no longer on the Rover app. I came across Donte and he immediately said YES. I was so happy and relieved and particularly excited and grateful that he is a dog trainer, which I made me feel like he could totally handle her. That was a true bonus in my mind. Lola has had training already, but it can take her a moment to warm up. Donte said she did good; I made her sound worse than she really is. I didn't get any videos or pics, so next time, I will request. I like to see her progress. Donte let me know that Lola got to play with his dog; glad she got to interact with another dog. She needs that. Donte was very flexible as I requested to add on another nite for him to keep Lola. All in all, I am very pleased with his services. Donte lives not too far from me, so that's an even added bonus. I will most denitely use Donte's services again and highly recommend him. Thank you Donte for the great care.”

About: Hi I’m Jess! I’ve previously worked for petsmart and have owned pets all of my life! I’ve got experience as a bird owner for over 20 years with multiple types of birds. I have been a sitter for dogs of all sizes including a coon hound, pit mix, corgi, and a golden doodle. I’ve even made homemade dog food when necessary! I have also been a sitter for cats! I’m willing to get my hands dirty and am used to cleaning up for and bathing dogs in my home as well! I love the outdoors and walking dogs, so your dog will get plenty of outside time. There is a state park close to my home that I frequent. If you have other animals in your home like Guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, lizards, etc I can care for them too with my knowledge from working at Petsmart. Helping me will be my significant other who currently works for petsmart also. I’m an animal lover at heart and will take great care of your pet as if it were my own! I’m home 24/7 to care for your pet, with a very flexible open schedule. I have nothing but lots of time to devote to your pet. I have a safe apartment complex with other leashed dogs that are all friendly surrounding me. My home is smoke free and we don’t use aerosols or candles due to owning birds. Our birds are kept separate from your animals and your pet will be supervised and played with and let out for potty breaks and walks every hour or two.

About: We have a ton of experience watching dogs, from puppies to senior dogs. We trained our own puppy so we understand the extra care, attention and exercise that is required for dogs at different stages of life. My husband and I work from home daily and take breaks regularly throughout the day to take our dog on walks, play with him and care for him. We happily do the same with other dogs we watch. These breaks are the best parts of our day. We have a yard but it is not fenced in, so we take our dog and dogs we watch on walks in our cul de sac and around the neighborhood, which is very walkable. We allow dogs on couches and beds. If they want to sleep with us, we welcome it!

I work M-F as a nurse but I’m usually done by 3:00 in the afternoon. I’ve found I really need something to do in my free time and I couldn’t think of anything better than taking care of some pets!
