About: My love for pets is what sparked me to enter the wonderful world of pet sitting. I have been a dog sitter and have been boarding dogs for 3+ years. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "fur baby". I grew up with a household of furry friends! I have an electric fence for my pup but when I pet sit, no pup goes out without supervision and on a leash. About: I was previously a manager at a doggy daycare in Chicago, where I worked hands-on with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I led a variety of courses, including: • Puppy Class – covering potty training, crate training, predicting behavior, and basic commands • Intermediate Class – focusing on leash walking, stays, and environmental cues • Trick Class – teaching fun and engaging behaviors • Advanced/CGC Prep – preparing dogs and owners for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test I taught these classes for a year before moving to North Carolina, where I now live on a farm and continue my education as a trainer. I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs, including blind dogs, flood and lab rescues, German Shepherds, Dobermans, mixed breeds, and more. I primarily use positive reinforcement methods but am currently expanding into balanced training to better serve dogs with a variety of needs. I'm currently just working part time on the weekends and have full availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday to give your furry friend all the love and attention they need. Will follow pets normal routine ex. feeding, walking, playtime. I personally don't mind animals on furniture but will follow whatever rules the pet is used too.
