Melissa has a fenced-in backyard which made lots of outdoors time accessible and she sent photos and updates throughout the day so I knew how things were going. She was very communicative from the start and set up a meet-and-greet beforehand, which helped me feel comfortable leaving my dog in her care. It’s clear that she provides a safe, positive, and peaceful environment for the pets she watches. I would absolutely book with Melissa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

About: I and my family are available to take care of your pet during the day, overnight, whenever is needed! We have owned several dogs and cats over our lifetimes and have taken care of many peoples pets. We have a deep passion for animals and will give your pet the very best care. We have been very active with Rover and have owned dogs for roughly 20 years and are only recently without dogs since our last one passed away a few years ago. Since we like to travel now that we’re older we decided not to adopt any more dogs but miss them and are happy to give our love to yours! We have two cats of our own and can never have too many animals to love on and play with! I or my husband and adult daughter are available full time most days including weekends. Please feel free to contact me to reserve the days you need pet sitting or other services. I have a fenced yard to keep your dog happy and entertained. If your dog needs to be crated when no one is home, please provide the crate.

I read just about every Rover option in the area that met certain criteria. We tried Kaylyn for the first time and Peyton came home a happy dog. She has a lot of fears having come from a tough background before we adopted her, so she would show fear if it didn't go well. We plan to use Kaylyn again!”

Since I’m home throughout the day, your dog will have constant supervision, plenty of backyard time, and all the belly rubs they can handle. About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. I look forward to providing belly rubs, snuggles and loving care.

About: I grew up with dogs around and found my soul mate dog in my early twenties. I rescued her from the humane association and we took classes on becoming a therapy dog. She passed too soon from an autoimmune disease about a year and a half ago. I miss having a dog to walk and spend time with. I hope to have a chance to spend time with yours! I work a very flexible hybrid schedule close to home. I am traditionally in the office Wednesday through Friday. My work days can be between 8am and 5pm.
