“Meagan sat with my dogs for a few hours. Jake my Australian Shepard had taken to her right away. My dachshund is more stubborn but as little time went on he came around. I would definitely book Meagan again to watch my fur babies.”

About: I’ve grown up arounds dogs and have owned atleast one dog for my whole life. I’ve had experience from chihuahuas to german shepherds. Pet care has become a daily thing with my fur babies. Along with taking care of my dogs, I have my goats, ducks, and chickens. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they receive the care, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away. I treat every pet like family and follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, and I keep owners updated with photos and messages while they’re away.
“We couldn’t be happier with the care our three dogs received! From the moment we left, she kept us updated with regular messages and adorable photos that gave us total peace of mind. It was so clear she treated them not just as clients, but as her own — they were loved, comfortable, and happy the entire time. We will absolutely be booking again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who truly goes above and beyond!”

About: I don’t just watch dogs—I get to know them. Whether it’s helping puppies learn the ropes or giving senior pups slow, cozy care, I tailor every visit to what your dog actually needs. I’m patient, upbeat, and love turning training moments into fun games. I pay close attention to each dog’s unique needs, energy level, and personality—because great care isn’t one-size-fits-all. And yes, I’m the sitter who celebrates every tail wag like it’s an achievement. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work full time Monday–Friday from 8–4, but I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend visits. I also have holidays and summers off, which gives me plenty of flexible time for daytime walks, drop-ins, and longer stays when needed. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I maintain a safe, structured environment by following your pet’s routine exactly as you outline it. In your home, I respect your space, secure doors and gates, and keep all food, treats, and cleaning supplies out of reach. I monitor pets closely during walks and use sturdy leashes and proper equipment. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind.

“Cody was awesome! He did some house sitting with my two dogs over a four day period. I never worried once after he came to meet and greet with our dogs and get acquainted before we left on a trip. He was flexible and willing to make an extra trip to let my dogs out one last time before we got home. Very appreciative of him!”

“Jennifer watched our 3 dogs during a weekend away and I couldn’t have asked for a better dogsitter. She sent pics throughout the weekend and we could tell our dogs were getting all the love we give them!! Thank you”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds, from energetic puppies to senior dogs and cats with special needs. I’ve worked with plenty of families and multiple dog kennels over the years and I am now enrolled in school to become a vet. I currently work in a veterinary clinic where I have the privilege of caring for all different breeds of animals. I am trained in administering medication and supplements of all kinds as well as giving love and care to all animals with their own personalities and routines! I offer a flexible and reliable schedule that allows me to fit pet care into my routine. I plan my day around each clients needs, ensuring your babies receive consistent attention, timely visits, and dependable care every time. I make it a priority to be available when your pet needs me most! Caring for pets in their own home allows me to crate a safe, familiar, and stress free experience tailored to their needs. I take the time to build trust with both you and your pet by following routines closely, maintaining a clean environment, and providing attentive care at all times. I also keep you connected with daily photo and video updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. To go the extra mile I offer a complimentary bath with select services, so you get to come home to a clean, refreshed, and happy animal!
“Ashley was awesome! She did a meet and greet and took plenty of notes. She was very communicative during our trip and sent photos and went above and beyond for our pets! We will definitely rebook her!”

“Selia did a great job taking care of my dog. He got plenty of exercise, played with toys, got treats, and I was able to relax knowing he was well taken care of! Highly recommend for any of your dog care needs!”

About: I have been pet sitting, house sitting, & even plant sitting since I was 15. I am clean, tidy and trustworthy, you won’t even know I was there! As an animal lover myself, your pet is in good hands! During the week I do have a full time job, but do not let that push you away! Your pet will be my top priority before and after my shift! For weekends I am 100% free when need be! Majority of the time I will stay in your home with your pet. I will follow all rules you have and keep your space tidy. Keeping your pet in their space is usually the best way to keep unwanted stress off of your pet while their humans are away! So take that trip, your furbaby is in great care! I have 3 large dogs at my home, if you require your pet to stay with me, they MUST be good with other dogs. (Cats may not stay with me in my home.) This is only an “if needed” situation, I’d much rather keep your pet in your home.

About: Hello, My name is Kamryn and i’m from the Morgantown area. I’ve been working in daycare/ boarding facilities for animals since 2019 and have learned how to properly care for animals, medicate, and bathe/groom during my time at those facilities. I am currently working at a veterinary technician and working on getting my certification for this field! Taking care of animals is my career and I would love to take care of yours! I’m currently a “stay at home girlfiend” so I’m available everyday of the week at almost any time of the day. I do have animals of my own so I am unable to board your animal inside of my own home. I would not be able to board your pet at my apartment as it is not allowed by landlord, I do have reliable transportation (my own car), so i would be able to take your animal on walks, to the park, and even take them for a swim. If that isn’t their thing then i’m more than happy to stay at a clients house and let them in/out throughout the day, and have a bunch of play time!
“Kimberly did an outstanding job taking care of my dog Koko while I was away. Koko loved her company and I came home to find him happy and relaxed. She followed his routine walks and feedings, just as I had asked her. She communicated with me often and sent me pictures. I couldn't have found a better pet sitter.”

About: With years of pet care experience, I’m dedicated to providing a comfortable experience for both you and your pet, available all days and all hours to provide the best experience. I’m currently self employed and available any day of the week or hours you may need to provide an experience for your pet any day of the week I provide safety, trust, and a safe environment for pets to be welcomed into. I specialize in dogs and cats both big and small, all fur babies are welcome

FAQs for House Sitting - Bobtown
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 219 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bobtown. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bobtown walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bobtown maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bobtown choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bobtown. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
