“Eboni was great with updates and photos the whole time she had our sweet girl! Her home was inviting and she made sure our dog got plenty of outside time as well as lots of love. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a safe and comfy place for your dog!”

“Steve is wonderful! He boarded and cared for our little Havanese while we were on vacation. Steve is welcoming, responsive, and has a genuinely kind heart for dogs. Yuki was loved, calm, and happy when we picked her up. We would highly recommend Steve and will definitely be a repeat client!”

“Marlee loves Brandi and her family. I really appreciated her and her family for watching my baby while I was out of town. She and her family were super nice and responsive to all calls and text. Thanks Brandi, we will definitely be back!”

“Nicole is amazing- from booking to pickup she made everything easy and was incredibly accommodating and flexible when my flight got delayed. The dogs came home totally relaxed having had a great weekend with lots of love and attention. We’ll definitely be bringing the girls to Nicole again!”

“Rachel and her husband were perfect with my pup! They had a great house & yard for her to play in. Waylyn did not want to leave her two new friends, Cooper and Bentley. Rachel kept me updated multiple times a day including pictures! We will definitely be using Rachel and her family again in the future and highly recommend!!”
“Ashley was awesome. We have a 6 month old Sheepadoodle puppy and he’s a handful. She was able to adapt to his behavior and handle him with patience. She also kept our 6 year old Golden Doodle. She has pitbulls but they are super sweet and so if you’re concerned, don’t be. They are the sweetest dogs you’ll meet. They welcomed our dogs as a part of the pack and got along very well. She sent us a detailed report with pictures every morning. Our dogs were very comfortable and happy at her home. We have boarded them before and they came back with a different behavior like peeing in the crate. We did not have that issue. We could tell she continued our training and used our detailed instructions and tips. We plan to use her again. She is #1 on our list of boarders. We’ve tried many but she is by far the best!”

“Samantha was very knowledgeable and professional with our pets and this being our first experience. She responded quickly to our booking request which was very last minute. She also did a great job keeping us updated on their stay and how much fun they were having with lots of photos which was GREAT! 10/10 recommended from these humans and doggos ?”

“A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! Our puppy is only 5 months old, so naturally we were nervous leaving her with someone else for the first time while we had to be out of town for an unfortunate family loss, but Emily and her family made our worries disappear. We were kindly greeted and treated with updates and pictures throughout our pup's stay. It was easy to see that she takes pride in providing a home experience for our pup, one that left ours worn out from playing when we picked her up! This was a much better experience and better peace of mind than a traditional kennel stay and we highly recommend Emily! We look forward to more stays for our pup!”

“Madison took great care of Abby. She provided frequent updates (she asks how many you want). Great communication. I would highly recommend Madison and will use her services again if I have to travel without Abby.”

“Whittney was incredible. I was so nervous to leave my Ghost because he has a lot of anxiety and she kept me reassured and up to date with pictures and updates the whole time. She was responsive and so incredibly kind. Ghost had the biggest smile in all of the pictures and videos she sent so I know he had the best time!”

“Courtney took great care of our pup, Biscuit for a long weekend. We never worried about him while out of town. Courtney sent photos and videos of him playing. We were at ease that he was well taken care of by Courtney in her home. We are on Courtney’s schedule for another stay soon!”

“Emilee is SO kind, and sent so many updates with photos, and loved on my sweet girl while I was gone. It was SO nice to know she was in great hands! Will certainly book again!”

“Michelle was super sweet and sent pics and videos the whole time our dog stayed with her. She had great communication and our dog did not want to leave. Her dog was so sweet too and they got along great.”

“She was absolutely amazing taking care of my doggy! Kept me up to date with everything and sent pictures every now and then. Definitely rebooking if needed and 100% recommend!”

“I highly recommend Jennifer she does an amazing job we will definitely be having her watch our fur babies again if we ever need someone, she kept us updated and sent us lots of pictures and always made sure the dogs had what they needed!! Thank you!”

About: I am a true animal lover, having had many different animals over the years, ranging from one of the smallest dog breeds, a Chihuahua (16 years) to one of the largest, a blind in one eye, completely deaf Great Dane (7 years). Both have since passed away, and I now enjoy my two Boxers, 11 yr old female, Daisy and my newest addition, a 3 month old male, Rocco. If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Blythe can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Blythe home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Blythe.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Blythe. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
You and your Blythe sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
