About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am 34 years old. I am from Stuart, FL. I am working in Bar Harbor for the summer from April to October. I have always been an animal lover and if I could afford a farm and have every type of animal in it... I would. I have owned, dogs, fish, and birds. I have had dogs most of my life. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. I also had a Rat Terrier named Oliver, we bought him at a year old. He lived to be 14 years old. Most recently my sister currently has a mini golden doodle, who is 4 years old. I loved taking my dogs on the trails in the parks. If I didn’t travel so much, I would love a dog of my own. I work seasonal contract jobs outside the National parks, mainly in the summer season. I go walking everyday & I would love to bring your pup with me. I am renting a place with other people so I would have to go to their home. I am very attentive and can play with them in the yard or whatever is asked.

A popular request this summer has been from folks on visiting who would like me to day sit at their campground/rv/hotel/air bnb while they enjoy the park, biking, boating or going out to eat. For boarding, My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region off the island. We have a fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets while on vacation. Pick up and drop off can be arranged at the head of the island if requested. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) Need to exercise your pup? Mini day hikes available too- custom fit for your pups comfort. This summer I am taking a sabbatical to my career job which means more hiking, walks and freedom to spend time with your pet- with flexible scheduling :) While my home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence, pets are never left unattended in the area. Happy to board with your routine in mind in terms of crating or free range of our home and total pampering. Pet sitting at your home is welcome too!

About: Hello! I’m originally from Virginia but am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and fall season! I have been dog sitting on Rover for over two years now and I absolutely love it. Some other facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your dog(s)! My work schedule is flexible and I’m not usually gone for longer than 3 to 4 hours. About: Beside always having family dogs and other pets growing up I’ve pet sat for friends, professors and even my own personal dog trainer. I love connecting with pets and helping make their days as fulfilled as they deserve. I work a very flexible five days a week job for a friend’s business. I generally have off Tuesdays and Wednesdays weekly and would love to add some more dogs into that routine. I won’t be able to care for any pets in my own home currency due to roommate preferences. But in your home I’d be happy to follow whatever guidelines you have to make your pet comfortable. Therefore I am only available on wednesdays and remaining weekdays after 5 pm When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to provide an stress-free, familiar environment where your pet feels safe and loved. I follow their usual routine; meals, walks, playtime, and any special needs such as medication or special care instructions. I take the time to understand their personality so I can give them the attention and comfort they’re used to. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet atmosphere, I’m adaptable and will ensure they feel secure and happy. I’m also happy to accommodate any specific needs, such as crating if that’s part of their routine. I always walk dogs on leashes to ensure safety. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, always contributed to taking care of them! I love pet sitting, whether it’s for family, friends or just someone who needs some help! I’m currently working full time but with a job with very flexible hours and most days getting out in the earlier afternoon! The job is more of a work when needed. (I work for a vacation rental agency) I don’t always work everyday, and can adjust hours if needed! I would care for your pets as if they were my own.
