About: I love dogs (and cats) more than anything! I am happy to treat your fur babies to the finest care during the day, overnight, while you are on vacation, or once in awhile for walks, hikes, check ins, at your place or mine! A popular request this summer has been from folks on visiting who would like me to day sit at their campground/rv/hotel/air bnb while they enjoy the park, biking, boating or going out to eat. For boarding, My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region off the island. We have a fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets while on vacation. Pick up and drop off can be arranged at the head of the island if requested. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) Need to exercise your pup? Mini day hikes available too- custom fit for your pups comfort. This summer I am taking a sabbatical to my career job which means more hiking, walks and freedom to spend time with your pet- with flexible scheduling :) While my home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence, pets are never left unattended in the area. Happy to board with your routine in mind in terms of crating or free range of our home and total pampering. Pet sitting at your home is welcome too!

About: Animal Care Technician with extensive experience with dogs, cats and rodents. Cannot train but am trained on proper handling, walking and administering oral medication. 19 years of experience with dogs from pup to elder (including dogs with medical issues) and 5 years experience with cats from kitten to elder (including cats with medical issues). I am currently not working and have a flexible schedule for anyone looking for booking! I will not be allowing boading or doggy day care at this time due to remodeling but I am willing to house sit, do scheduled drop in's and dog walking. My current schedule includes every day except for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings due to current client bookings. I do not currently house any pets but I have owned dogs and cats for years before and have extensive experience caring for pets of family and friends.

I am great at reading animals and understanding the different personalities and quirks they each have so I can provide them with the best care that works for them 🧐 Every animal is different but they all deserve our best! I have a flexible schedule and my own car that allows me to be an adaptive and on call care giver. I don't mind late bookings or cancelations as I understand that things come up. I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Our home is very easy going and has a lot of space for different needs and comforts. In your home, I will defer to your personal preferences always.

About: I’m a dog lover and have owned several dogs throughout my life - a cocker spaniel, 2 English setters, one chocolate lab and a golden retriever. Right now I’m single, live alone and I like to travel a lot. But I enjoy dog companions and want to make myself available to help you with your dog sitting needs. I’m a daily runner so I can take your dog on runs or long walks. I live near a pond where dogs can swim, and in general I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood that is suitable for all types of dogs. I’m also a health nut, so I will only feed your dog good food and/or whatever is required of their diet. I’m currently working full time but with a job with very flexible hours and most days getting out in the earlier afternoon! The job is more of a work when needed. About: Hello! I’m originally from Virginia but am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and fall season! I have been dog sitting on Rover for over two years now and I absolutely love it. Some other facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. About: I've owned two high energy and high maintenance dogs for the past 5 years, I've owned cats for 15 years. I currently volunteer at an animal shelter caring for cats, dogs, and small animals. I used to compete in dog shows and have followed through with training many dogs thought my early childhood until now. I now am training dogs, working on harness training cats and enjoy taking care of as many pets as possible. I'm currently working part time but do not have shifts longer than 6 hours and mostly work online, so I just need WiFi available for me to work while house sitting. This is a non smoking non drinking household that is quiet and has no other animals. There is a large fenced back yard and a large non-fenced front yard, but the house is on a quiet lightly trafficked street in a not so busy part of town.

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I grew up with several different animals and have always loved being around them and taking care of them! At a very young age I really wanted to work with animals and that same passion of working with them is still the same today! As of right now, my schedule varies! I could be working any shift from 6:30-2:30, 7:30-4:30, 9:15-5:15, or 12:15-5:15. I am a new mom who is trying to make ends meet but working still isn’t helping because daycare is so expensive! I am really trying to pet sit part time or even full time! My weekends and holidays are always open except for the occasional family trips in the summer! I do not have a fenced in yard at my home so that means that your fur babies will be kept on a leash when taking them outside. Your fur babies will also be kept company by 2 friendly dogs and 2 friendly cats! I also have to crate one of my dogs so I can easily crate dogs if needed!

About: I grew up with dogs in the family and with friends with furry friends as well! I’ve always been surrounded by them :) My friend had a Dalmatian puppy while we were in college so I helped out a bunch with their pet needs such as walking, feeding, playing etc. My work schedule right now is pretty clear so most of my whole week is very free to help take care of your pet needs when you need an extra hand! My environment is very pet friendly with multiple parks nearby to play with your furry friend and for them to use the bathroom when needed as well! I can’t wait to help out with your furry friend!

About: Beside always having family dogs and other pets growing up I’ve pet sat for friends, professors and even my own personal dog trainer. I love connecting with pets and helping make their days as fulfilled as they deserve. I work a very flexible five days a week job for a friend’s business. I generally have off Tuesdays and Wednesdays weekly and would love to add some more dogs into that routine. I won’t be able to care for any pets in my own home currency due to roommate preferences. But in your home I’d be happy to follow whatever guidelines you have to make your pet comfortable. I love working on basic training to support your current efforts if desired or just throwing the ball as part of their normal routine.
