Take off the leash and set your four-legged friend free to run and splash in this sandy slice of doggy heaven. This huge beach is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and well-maintained by the Preservation Society of Huntington Dog Beach.
When you and your pup get tired of the sand, you can move to the grassy picnic area, snag a table, and have a snack
The beach runs along the Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint Avenue and 21st Street.
Metered parking is available in the lot or along the street. Scoop bags are provided, but bring your own water and get ready to spend the day with lots of other friendly pups and owners.
