If you and your pup are lucky enough to find yourself in Tulsa, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get outside and play. From rocky hikes to grassy fields, we’ve got you and your tail-wagging bestie covered when it comes to dog-friendly places in Tulsa to run, fetch, and make dog friends.

Beside the impressive list of parks below, Tulsa really knows how to celebrate their dogs. In the summer, check out Woofstock, a festival that offers giveaways, music, food trucks, and more, all in celebration of dogs and the people who love them. Or catch an outdoor movie with your dog at Paws and Pictures, hosted at Tulsa’s local drive-in.

  • Variety of scenery for walking or jogging with leased dogs
  • Several trails ranging from 0.8 to 5.7 miles
  • Grades can be steep, so dress appropriately
  • For less rugged adventure, follow the paved path along the west bank of the Arkansas River
