These ETs are just trying to phone home
Oklahoma City Animal Welfare went viral with a Facebook post Declaring “Adoption isn’t that far out of this world!” and suggesting readers storm their shelter to find a great animal to protect you from the Area 51 aliens.
The response has been incredible
If you don’t live in the OKC area, you can donate to the shelter here.

Plenty of other shelters are jumping on board this space ship. Maybe you’ll find your next furry life partner right here on earth?
And don’t forget, it’s kitten season right now too. Many furry little monsters out there would love to make your home their research base of Earth operations. You know, someplace to conduct their studies for the betterment of cat science.
What’s not to love about using a ridiculous trend to help shelter animals find homes? This idea is so genius, it’s got to be inspired by alien technology.
Not sure what’s got all this Area 51 nonsense stirred up? We’ve got a great news clip below that sums up the situation for you.
