All the Ways We Bring You Business
Without a doubt, this will be our biggest summer ever, and we want it to be big for you too! Here’s a behind-the-scenes sample of what we’re doing to make sure you can fill your summer with dog playtime.
National Television Commercials & Radio Ads
The next time a dog owner needs to find care for their pet, we want them to turn to our awesome Rover sitters. Our nationwide TV commercials and radio ads are a great way to show how amazing our dog sitters are, and how they treat their canine clients like family.
Haven’t seen our TV commercials yet? We have not one, not two, not three, but four! Check ’em out and let us know what you think.
Search Engine Ads
If you search for “dog sitting” on Google or Bing, you’ll see our Rover ads right at the top. These ads direct dog owners to search for sitters in their area, right off the bat.
Online Ads
You’ve probably also seen our ads online on sites like Facebook. We want to let pet parents know that Rover sitters are dog lovers first, and that sitters like you will provide exceptional care for their pet. Here’s an example of one of our nationwide ads that direct dog owners toward finding their pet’s dream sitter:
Online Directories
We also work with local and national online directories like Yelp to find pet parents who are actively looking for a pet sitter. For example, if a pet parent goes to Yelp and types in “dog sitter,” they will likely see a Rover Yelp listing representing their city or region—in the first spot! In just a few moments, pet parents can see all the amazing pet sitters near them.
We also have thousands of 5-star reviews on websites like Yelp from pet parents who want to share how their dog fell in love with their new sitter.
Exclusive Partnerships
We’ve partnered with companies who share our love of dogs, including Petco and Bringfido. Our partners do a great job of telling their customers to turn to Rover sitters the next time they need someone to take care of their pet.
The Dog People
You’re lookin’ at it! Our blog is a great resource for sitter tips and cute GIFs, but it also educates dog owners about what makes Rover sitters so amazing. We’re getting thousands of blog visitors every day, and many of those readers end up booking stays with Rover sitters. We think it’s pretty rewarding when pet parents come to The Dog People for a dose of cuteness but end up with an amazing sitter.
Here’s What You Can Do
That’s just a sample of everything we’re doing this summer to help you connect with more pet parents. Now here’s how you can get in on the promotional action!
Sitters who create a custom promo code and profile link on their dashboard are six times more likely to get a booking than sitters who don’t. Your custom promo code gives pet parents you’ve recruited to Rover $20 off their first stay—and Rover covers the cost. If a new Rover user redeems your code and books with another sitter, they still get $20 off and you’ll get a $10 cash referral bonus. It’s a win-win!
Once you have your custom promo code and profile link, you can share it on Facebook, post on Craigslist or Nextdoor, and more. Read more about how Rover pays to promote your business and other promotional strategies.
Everybody Wins
We know there are tons of pet parents out there who would love to find a Rover sitter—they just haven’t met you yet. Whether it’s through a nationwide TV commercial or a Facebook ad, we’re dedicated to educating pet parents about our amazing sitters. You get new business, pet parents get peace of mind, and every dog gets a new buddy.
