9 Rover Dogs Enjoying Fall with Their Sitters
Fall means a whole new set of potential activities (and a whole new set of photo ops) for you and your Rover dogs. Here are some photos from real Rover stays that capture the magic of this time of year—and the unique bond between a dog and their favorite sitter.
Go on a Quest to Find the Perfect Pumpkin
Ask the pet parent if it’s okay to take their dog to a pumpkin patch, then spend some time picking out a pumpkin that’s worthy of a second sniff.
Or, if you’re feeling noncommittal, you can just enjoy walking around and absorb the atmosphere.
Bring the pumpkin home to see if the cat approves. (So far, so good.)
Help Their Pet Parent Brainstorm Costume Ideas
We all know there’s nothing cuter than a dog in costume: Question is, how do you convince a dog to wear one? Whether your Rover dog loves dressing up or seems a bit wary, volunteer to help the pet parent find a good costume.
We’re not sure how she feels about this, but she sure looks cute.
Or, if your Rover’s dog not too game for a full-body getup, some cute specs will do.
Take Long Walks on Crunchy Leaves
There’s something about taking walks on those crisp, clear days where it’s just you, your Rover dog, and the satisfying crunch of leaves—until someone lifts their leg to ruin the moment.
But, in all seriousness, fall’s a great opportunity to reflect on your year together—and look forward at what’s to come.
And Make Sure to Schedule Some Couch Time Too
Because there’s nothing like snuggling with a sleepy dog while you watch TV.
