Today, Rover.com announced that we have partnered with DOGTV on an exclusive co-marketing launch partnership. DOGTV is the first TV channel made specifically for dogs and is a great tool to help keep your pup happy when you have to be apart.
DOGTV programming is split into three categories – relaxation, stimulation and exposure – that work collaboratively to provide just the right balance for the daily routines of stay-at-home dogs. The DOGTV team spent hundreds of hours producing the programming and testing its benefits with dogs, dog owners, veterinarians and trainers. Each frame and sound is designed for the canine crowd to meet the specific attributes of their sense of vision and hearing.
“At Rover, we are passionate about how technology can improve the lives of dogs,” said Aaron Easterly, CEO of Rover. “We are also always on the search for approaches to improving dog’s comfort and reducing anxiety when inevitable temporary separation happens. DOGTV is a novel approach to both problems and we are excited about partnering with them.”
Rover and DOGTV will work together on co-marketing campaigns to the pet parent community. Additionally, pet parents who sign-up for DOGTV will get a $25 gift certificate to Rover so they can try out the service joining thousands of pet parents looking for the best in home dog boarding solution.
We can’t wait for our Rover dogs to check out the new programming, and (truth be told) we might end up on the couch watching with fido!
