These Dogs Hold So Still You Won’t Believe It’s Real—Until They Hear the Signal [Video]

These dogs know how to strike a pose! In this video, Australian Kelpies named Jackson, X, and Cash hold a perfect pose until they hear the signal from mom and trainer Evelyn Edblad that they’re free to go.

Wait for it!

Evelyn shares that Kelpies have a natural freeze reaction as part of their sheepherding instincts, so the move comes naturally to them. “I’ve taught Jackson, Cash, and X to stay still on command before I give them the signal that they are free to go. They then freeze in expectation, knowing they’ll soon get to run around.”

Looking good, team
