No one knows quite where rescue dogs Jack and Diane came from, or how long they’ve been together, but they know they belong side by side. This deeply bonded pair was picked up wandering in a local cemetery in Maine with their leashes tied together last summer.
Since then, they’ve been tended to by the dedicated staff at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society.
Determined to keep the lovebirds together, the staff at the Humane Society decided to throw Jack and Diane a wedding, hoping the social media attention would help the sweethearts find a love nest of their own. And the video evidence is adorable.
These senior sweeties are looking for a permanent place to land.
Just look at them! True love.
All this happy couple needs to live out their golden years together in bliss is a quiet home with no small children or other pets. They promise to nap their days away together, preferably snuggled up with you on the couch.
Their adoption fee is just $50 for the pair, and they must, of course, stay together.
Seriously though, who’s ready for a road trip to Maine?
We’ll update the story when Jack and Diane find their forever home.
