Next Sunday, the Rover team will be at University Village in Seattle supporting one of our favorite pooch organizations, the Seattle Humane Society. Every year, the Humane Society puts on an annual one or two mile walk and all-day fundraiser to support the fantastic work that they do all year: provide food, medical care and shelter to animals across the area. This year, they have a goal of raising $166,000 – and Rover wants to do our part to help them!
There are many ways for all of you to get involved:
1) Please join our team and walk with us on Sunday! To register, please follow this link:
Our team is called “A Place for Rover” and the password is “Rover”. Registration includes a SHS Animal Walk t-shirt and a pup bandana!
2) Volunteer at our Booth! The Rover team will be out at Fido Fest in University Village from 8am to 4pm. We would LOVE to have you all come by and help us meet people, hand out goodies and get the word out about Rover. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in volunteering.
Special perk: all volunteers will receive a FREE Rover t-shirt!
3) Donate to our Team! Anyone who donates $50 or more will receive a FREE Rover t-shirt: Just remember to drop me a note at email@example.com with your size and mailing address!
4) Stop by our booth for fun and prizes! We will have many Seattle dog sitters and dog owners coming by the booth all day, so it will be a great place and time for the Rover community to get to know each other.
Have a great week Rovers, and we look forward to seeing all of you dog owners and dog sitters next Sunday, September 25th at University Village for the Seattle Humane Society Walk for Animals!
