Meet Nemo, the ‘First Dog’ of France. Nemo is a Labrador and wirehaired pointing griffon cross thought to be 1-2 years old, adopted from the SPA, the French Society for Protection of Animals.
Nemo is named for Captain Nemo, the protagonist of Jules Verne’s science fiction classic, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, a favorite of President Emmanuel Macron.
