The Top 10 Cutest Animated Dogs Ever

For Dog People

How do you choose the cutest animated dogs of all time?

Well it was hard work, let me tell you.

After hours of viewing the most adorable videos that television and movies had to offer, we locked ourselves in a conference room with a Costco bucket of Red Vines (and possibly a margarita machine) to fight to the death. By which I mean watch more of our favorite cute dog videos.

It’s a ruff life here at Rover.com

We hope you enjoy, and share your thoughts in the comments!

10. Snoopy from Peanuts

Snoopy’s vivid imagination and amazing dancing skills have made him a childhood classic since he first started walking on his hind legs in 1957. This year he’s coming to a theatre near you in 3D!

9. Bolt

Just what every little girl needs–a superdog to protect her from evil! Too bad all the superpowers were just Hollywood special effects.

8. Percy from Pocahontas

Sure, Percy is the straight man to all of Meeko’s antics, but like peanut butter and jelly you just can’t beat this combination!

7. Gromit from Wallace and Gromit

Every crazy inventor needs a down to earth best friend like Gromit to save the day.

6. Slinky Dog from Toy Story

Slinky Dog is a toy’s best friend, and his special slinky middle comes in handy too.

5. Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas

With his glowing nose and joyful smile, Zero has to be the least scary ghost of all time.

4. Patch from 101 Dalmations

Who could resist the spunkiest pup from a litter of 15?

3. Jake from Adventure Time

Jake the dog is the best friend anyone could ever wish to have in the post-apocalyptic candy-utopian future. He is a great friend, a wonderful father, and renowned chef. Plus his body can take any form and be any size. What more could you ask for?

2. Dug from Up

Dug is the perfect distillation of all that a dog is. Loyal, loving, easily distracted. Plus he has that nifty translation collar.

1. Winston from Feast

I may be a little biased as a Bostie lover and owner of a Boston/Frenchie mix, but Winston is so startlingly true to life it’s uncanny. The sheer gastronomic joy Winston embodies is captivating and irresistible.
