Maybe. If your dog has gotten into your Thanksgiving apple pie, she should survive without any problems. All of the typical ingredients in apple pie are safe for dogs. In fact, apples themselves can be a healthy treat to share with your pet. But we won’t encourage you to give apple pie to your dog. While the apple does offer nutritional benefits, apple pie is basically apple drowning in sugar, which your dog doesn’t need. Share a plain apple instead (sliced, without the core!), but not the desert.
