No! All forms of caffeine are highly toxic to dogs as it can dangerously increase their heart rate. Depending on your dog’s size, a small amount of coffee probably won’t harm it, but more than that could be life-threatening.
Symptoms of caffeine poisoning dogs include:
- Hyperactivity
- Restlessness
- Vomiting
- Elevated heart rate
- Elevated blood pressure
- Abnormal heart rhythms
- Tremors
- Elevated body temperature
- Seizures
- Collapse
- Death
Contact your vet immediately if your dog shows any of these signs of caffeine poisoning.
