With the 2025 tax deadline fast approaching, we know many providers are looking for simple, reliable ways to understand and report their earnings. That’s why we’re excited to introduce a highly requested update that allows providers to download their detailed yearly earnings directly from Rover.
What’s changed
Providers can now download a comprehensive, year-by-year summary of their stays and associated earnings. Whether preparing for taxes or just keeping track of business performance, this new feature makes it easier to access this data.
This new functionality helps reduce that overhead by:
- Providing a single source of truth for yearly earnings
- Saving time during tax preparation
- Making it easier to manage and understand business performance
It also lays important groundwork for improving how we support providers with tax-related questions, better equipping our customer service team with the information needed to more quickly and efficiently respond during one of the busiest times of the year.
Why this matters
Before this update, many providers were tracking bookings and earnings manually, often maintaining separate spreadsheets or records outside of Rover. Not only did this create extra work, it also made it harder to get a clear, centralized view of their business performance.
This rollout is a great example of how we’re listening to provider feedback and investing in tools that make running a pet care business on Rover easier, and the response has been strong. Within just four days of its launch in February, over 4,600 providers downloaded their earnings reports and nearly 10,000 yearly files were generated. While we can’t necessarily make tax season fun, we can make it much easier to navigate for our community.
