The busy Bristol airport in Somerset, England recently played host to a new crop of explosive detecting dogs. The event was equal parts hard work and puppy love. One of the cutest trainees by far has to be Bodhi, who hasn’t quite gotten the hang of using the conveyer belt. We believe in you Bodhi—you’re a very good dog.

Over 40 K9 trainees spent a week at the bustling airport practicing their skills, interacting with the public, and just getting used to working in a busy environment with so many distractions.
The exercise is part of an 8-week initial training period where the dogs hone their skills every day. The dogs are trained with positive techniques like food or toy rewards offered for successful detection.
