Dog Walkers in Bliedorn, IA

About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: I have dog sat all types of dogs biggest being a Great Dane and the smallest a Chihuahua. I am very open to dog sitting any dog! I am currently working full time at the college of dentistry but I get off work at 5 everyday and have weekends and holidays off. I live in an apartment so I wouldn’t be able to board your dogs but I am very respectful of someone’s home and will take great care of your dogs.

About: For years my daughter and I volunteered at a no-kill shelter fostering and adopting out dogs and cats. This gave me experience with several breeds. I work Tuesday through Friday from 8-5. My office is very close to the house and I am able to come home everyday for lunch. I have lots of time to spoil your pets! I live in a condo with a very large yard. Your pets will have the run of the house. I have one cat that rules the roost!

About: I've had different types of pets my whole life - dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, etc. I harbor so much love and passion for animals and positive care. I have experience as kennel staff at a vet clinic where I fed and cleaned up after cats & dogs, and walked & bathed dogs as needed. I've cared for puppies, kittens, as well as senior cats and dogs. I have experience giving medication such as pills, chewables, liquid oral meds with a syringe, and insulin shots for a diabetic cat. I work full-time as a paraeducator, so while school is out my schedule is pretty flexible for the summer to pet-sit and go on routine walks with pets as needed. Caring for pets in my clients' homes, I calmly greet pets upon arrival so I don't over-excite them. I follow owners' specific instructions thoroughly to ensure safe and proper care for each animal and their individual needs. If I am letting animals out for a walk or into a yard, I check to make sure fences/gates and that leashes/tie-out lines are safe and secure before having the pets go outside.

About: I have a lot of experience with many different ages and types of pets and love to treat them as my own. I have been hired by many families to care for their pets ranging from guinea pigs to multiple dog households who rely on my responsibility and care. Not only is it important to me for your pets to trust me but also owners to trust my abilities to take care of your pets needs! About: Hi! My name is Amanda. I have worked in doggie daycare, worked as a bather and in the sales department! At work I got to experience different breeds, temperaments and personalities! My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I am known to have great communication skills, I am compassionate , and I am responsible. I pride myself in those traits and look forward to building a relationship with you and your family member! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.

About: I’ve had a dogs in my life, since I was a child, and was introduced to cats as I ventured into the collegiate life. As an adult I have cared for dogs primarily, but recently had the opportunity to take care of the sweetest cats! I am fairly patient with pets and like to give them as much space as they like to try to not mess up the routines, but if they are balls of energy and cuddle bugs, I am more than happy to comply! I believe that walks and healthy roaming space is good for a dog’s, development and energy, and respecting a cat to make the first move to ensure respect and comfort to their environment. Hi! I’m a full-time high school interpreter and a lifelong animal lover. During the school year, I spend my days helping students thrive in the classroom — and now that summer’s here, I’m excited to dedicate my time to caring for your pets! I like doing research on the neighborhoods that I’m going into if it’s a new area, and like to understand what you have available, either a dog park, or a fenced backyard, to really understand how to best care for your dog. My dog is a big ball of energy so I have learned a lot of skills to be able to make sure that they stay in their assigned spaces, I do like to keep them with me on my lap as I work, or nearby letting them enjoy a nap.

About: Hi! I'm Jenna, 19 years old, and high school graduate. I have grown up with pets all my life and I absolutely love them! I'm currently scheduling bookings for week day and weekends as well. My schedule is very flexible. I currently have 2 dogs, Holly and Sadie, along with my cats, Daisy and Pixie. Holly is a 7 year old Maltese and Poodle mix and Sadie is a 2 year old Labradoodle. I have also worked with the Scott County Humane Society and the shelter pups there, where I learned basic first aid for dogs and cats. About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family pets, working in a pet boarding/daycare facility and currently in Pet Grooming School. About: Sierra has over 20 years of pet care experience between having a range of personal animals and then going into an animal career. Sierra worked as a kennel and vet assistant for a shelter for 3 years before grooming for 9 years. She still is grooming from home. Sierra is experienced in animal CPR and first aid. Very experienced with administering medications and working with nursing animals up to senior special needs animals. Sierra has had chinchillas, rabbits, birds, bearded dragons, snakes but of course dogs and cats as well. Lucas is an avid animal lover. His animal experience comes from his own personal animals as well as he has been pet sitting for a few years. He is very active and works their energy out through long walks, hiking, and playing with toys. Lucas has had bearded dragons, snakes, dogs and cats as personal animals and loved every second of it! We believe having someone do it from Rover provides a more personalized quality of care. They recieve a lot more attention and affection through private sitters than they do in large facilities. We work together so that we can accommodate everyone's wishes. We have super high expectations of care for our animals and we like to give those same standards to those we do pet care for. We are an all around animal fanatic. We love them all furry, fuzzy, hairy, feathery, and scaley. We believe when Pet parents are on vacation their pets should be too. We fully believe in spoiling and going above and beyond. We love taking dogs to the dog park and walking in all different parts of town. We have a cat room set up in our house with tons of toys and furniture to fully satisfy their needs. We believe in animals having a lot of love and affection, especially when they are already experiencing distance from their favorite people. Animals are not only something we are very passionate about but what we have revolved our lives around. Lucas is home all day and would be available to do 24 hour care. Sierra grooms Monday through Friday 8am until 12pm-1pm. If your pet care ends on the weekend and you want your pet to be groomed, arrangements can be made. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I recently got a fenced in dog run that I monitor dogs in so they can be off leash. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid.

About: Being in the military not only have I had special training with bigger dogs but also having close relatives with ESA (emotional support animals) I have always been very close and caring of animals as they are the most pure hearted things on the planet Currently all days are available and am willing to watch on weekends as well animals are the key to the soul and I’m excited they are apart of our lives I live not to far from a dog park and have many toys and space for animals I have a caring girlfriend as well who is very supportive of animals

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and lived with them for my entire life. I’m very used to dogs of all breeds and sizes. I love dogs of all sizes and ages and have reliable transportation. I’m open to house- sitting, dog walking, and drop- in visits. I do have a part- time job but I’m never too busy to fit it a walk or pop by and check on your pup. About: Walking, bathing, playing, feeding, and caring/hanging out with dogs has been a constant part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was raised with 3 dogs(2 of which were puppies) and have assisted family, friends, and neighbors in these tasks for at least 7 years. I am currently in school which occupies my mornings(I do have breaks between classes) but am available most afternoons. My evenings and weekends are also available. I think it is very important to be aware of all the surroundings to make sure the environment is safe for the pet and to take proper steps like double-checking gates/doors.
