“Cheryl was amazing! I have two dogs, a nine year old and a four month old. My older girl takes time getting used to people and I needed Cheryl all day on short notice. She came to the house for three days leading up to my day trip to just sit with her and get her familiar with Cheryl. Our puppy of course loved her instantly! Cheryl went above and beyond including even grabbing a package that was delivered and bringing our trash cans up to the garage from the street which was completely unexpected and above and beyond. We will be using Cheryl from here on out!”

About: I’ve been volunteering at animal rehab facilities since I was 10 and I’ve worked my way up to wildlife internships in the amazon rainforest just last year, so I have plenty of experience with animals from household pets to less common exotics ! Household pets I have most experience in are Cats, Dogs, Small mammals and Reptiles and I’m well educated in proper cleaning, meal preparation and grooming. I have a heart for animals and i can’t wait to meet yours! 😊🐶 I’m currently managing a temporary health setback and seem to have a lot of time on my hands! I’m available 9 am - 12a during the week and weekends is full availability to keep your pet safe and entertained. I have a fenced in yard and screened porch and I only let my cat roam leashed under close supervision so that he doesn’t get into anything and I didn’t notice. I Always ask what the owner is comfortable with whether it’s crating or going on walks around the yard prior but I also understand some pets need more attention than others and that’s okay! I never have anything toxic in reach and keep my house stocked with plenty of toys and treats to keep your pet happy and healthy.

About: I love animals and have owned birds (zebra finches), ferrets, a dog (Labrador Retriever) and a cat (Domestic Shorthair). During my days in the College of Central Florida, I worked with the two horses they had there: a Thoroughbred named Ellie and an Arabian named Dolly. After graduating with my certificate in equine science, I volunteered at a cat shelter where I swept the floor, cleaned the litter boxes, and socialized the cats. Currently planning on owning a snake (most likely a red-tailed boa) one day. I am a currently unemployed night owl who is free to watch over any and all pets daily day or night throughout the entire week. I make sure that no pet gets into places they don't belong, eat things they shouldn’t eat, or go outside without a leash or harness.

About: I've rescued and cared for six dogs, three became mine. And I' ve dog-sat for friends & family for decades. Dogs love my fenced yard and the looong walks we take in the acres of trails and woods around my house! I'm formally educated and exprienced in animal behavior and comparative psychology. And as a professional conservation biologist, I've spent my career working to protect all animals and their habitats. Caring for critters is my heart & soul. I work from home (complete with a fenced yard) surrounded by many wooded acres for long walks. Dogs welcome day or night, long- or short-term. I'm always here with them. And your dog(s) can either enjoy the company of my two pups, or they can have me, the house, and the yard all to themselves (as my pups love to go stay with their grand-dad down the hill). Boarding dogs can either meet and play with my two pups or they can have me, the house, and the fenced yard to themselves, which ever you/they prefer. The same applies to day-care for dogs.

About: I’ve had and cared for all species of animals my whole life. From lizards, to chickens, to even water buffalo. I cannot imagine my life without animals I work from home so I can make my own schedule. I have my own critters to take care of so I’m always out and about At home I take care of my critters 2x a day. My horses I only have to feed once a day but I still drive by to get my eyes on them. I like to see my animals and make sure everyone is ok at least 2x a day

I have a guide dog who thinks she’s the real boss around here, and she’s always ready to make new friends (just as long as they don’t steal her treats). With 14 years of experience wrangling cats and 12 years of dog adventures under my belt, I’m well-versed in the art of pet pampering. I love walking and playing with dogs, whether they’re zooming around like puppies or taking it easy like wise old sages. I will wake up anywhere from 7 to 9 am and give everyone breakfast and medications if needed. Can get up earlier if your pet requires me too for their daily routine. If a walk is In their schedule, I will do that first before breakfast then depending on how tired they are they will wait for half an hour to an hour before having their breakfast. This is due to the heat so they’re walking as early as possible. If your pet is on a different schedule, of course I will follow that so please make sure you provide your pets schedule and medications otherwise they will use the schedule I have below *Water is provided throughout the day unless resting after walks. *The rest of the times that are not outlining the schedule or spent either playing your pet or cuddling with them whichever they prefer *7-8 am Early walk to avoid the heat *7-8 breakfast and bathroom break meds if need if they didn’t need a walk if they went on a walk depending on how tired they are I will have them wait for half an hour to an hour before breakfast *10am-12pm bathroom break *2-4pm bathroom break *5-6pm dinner meds if need *7-8pm short walk if not dark outside. *10pm bedtime Pet safety is my top priority, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your furry friends are in good hands. When dogs are in my care, they will always be leashed to ensure their safety and to help prevent any unexpected adventures! As someone with a disability, I take extra care in handling your pets, especially when it comes to taking them for walks. I believe that a smooth and safe experience for both the pet and the caregiver is essential. To further enhance their safety and identification, I will change their collars to Martindale collars with bells. These collars not only look great but also help keep track of your pets, especially if they decide to explore a bit too much! When your pets are in their own home, the only change will be the collars, so they can feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I understand how important it is to keep to their routines, so I will be diligent about following their schedules and any specific needs you may have. Communication is key, so I’m always open to discussing any additional preferences you have to ensure your pets feel happy and safe while I care for them.

I’ve been a reliable and dependable sitter for family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers by providing a safe and fun environment for all our furry friends. I currently work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm but am typically available outside of these hours. If located within citrus county I can provide drop-ins and walks during working hours on the weekdays. I have a double fenced small dog park in my area but would am also willing to travel to local dog parks for some fun in the sun for more active four-legged friends.

I’d like a days notice for most scheduling but you can contact me anytime and most likely will be available on short notice I do have doggie doors and a privacy fence but my fur baby is 11 and likes her alone time so I’d prefer to care for yours at your home and follow any instructions you have and i would always walk them on a leash outside of the property.
