“Morgan is great with our Gus! He is shy around other people and we wanted him to be more comfortable around other people--so we thought a dog walker was a good idea. Morgan is gentle and patient ith him. She's only been our dog walker for a short time, but when we say "Morgan's coming today" his head snaps towards the door in anticipation of her coming. About: I grew up with golden retrievers and dobermans, and have a profound love for all dogs. I took a one year online and in person course for basic dog obedience training with Animal Behavior College. I enjoy taking my pups on hikes, swimming, and to parks where they can play. I also have chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese! Animals are truly my passion, and my goal is to make my house feel like their home away from home. I'm a stay at home mom (I was previously a HS teacher), and my days are typically spent outdoors with my dogs and kiddos (weather permitting). So my schedule is very flexible! I have a fully fenced yard, and a house with plenty of room for the dogs to romp. I also have a designated area for my cats, whenever they’re wanting to get away from the dogs, so for in home pet sitting, your cat(s) can have a safe place to decompress and not be overwhelmed with dogs. I can easily crate dogs if needed, but my dogs usually have free run of the house, and your dog(s) can too! My dogs get along with animals of all kinds, and are very gentle and friendly.

I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.

About: I've always had a love for animals and have had an animal in my life since I was a child. They truly are a joy and are so sweet, smart, and intuitive! I don't currently have my own fur baby which makes Rover such a great experience. I enjoy meeting all the different and new friends. ;) Animals aren't just pets they are a part of the family and need the same love and care. When I care for your fur babies I always hope to provide a positive and loving experience for them while you're away. I’ve been with Rover and doing Animal care professionally for a little over two years. If you’re looking for a pet nanny to give some extra love and care I’m your gal! :) My schedule is very flexible as I am self employed. So this allows me to be available for extra love and all your pet care needs :) I know it can be a little nerve wracking for your pets or you as a pet owners to leave your pets (and home) alone especially with someone new! I hope to make a calm and joyful experience for your fur babies especially if they have separation anxiety. I can give as much love, care, and play time needed to soothe these moments. All animals are different and I like to cater to that. Getting a new babysitter can be off putting for anyone… haha I feel animals are more comfortable when they get to stay in their own environment instead of having to acclimate to new spaces and energy. During the stay I will provide lots of fun photo updates so you can stay up to date on all of our adventures and cuddle moments! I look forward to meeting your fur babies!

I’m a stay at home wife who occasionally helps her disabled son who lives on his own so I have time to help others out. I also volunteer in my community. My routine varies depending on how many pups we watch 🙂 We have fenced off an area for our dogs, and will have supervised outside play time. We also have private Trails we can go for hikes.

About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had this special bond with animals. I was always the one neighbors/familt friends would call to walk their dogs, feed their cats, or look after their birds and reptiles. It just came naturally to me, and I loved every minute of it. Those early experiences really sparked my passion for animal care. As I grew older, I wanted to make sure I was the best at what I do, so I took lots of courses in pet health, nutrition, and behavior. I believe every animal is unique and deserves personalized care, so I always try to understand their individual needs and personalities. Because of this, many pet owners trust me with their beloved animals, knowing they’re in good hands. I don’t just stick to the basics either. I’m known for going the extra mile, whether it’s staying up all night with a sick pet, finding the best toys and activities to keep them entertained, or just giving them lots of love and cuddles. My home often becomes a safe haven for animals in need, and I’m committed to making sure every pet I care for lives a happy, healthy life. Taking care of animals isn’t just a job for me; it’s a mission I’m truly passionate about. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is seeing the transformation in the animals I care for. Whether it’s a rescue dog learning to trust again, a cat recovering from an illness, or a bird that starts to sing joyfully, each success story fuels my dedication. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of animals, each with its own story and needs, and it’s always a privilege to be part of their journey. Over time, I’ve built a reputation in my community for being reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Pet owners know they can count on me not just for basic care, but for a level of attention and love that makes a real difference. It’s not uncommon for me to receive updates and thank-you notes long after I’ve cared for someone’s pet, which always warms my heart and reaffirms why I do what I do. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in animal care. There’s always something new to learn, and I’m committed to staying at the forefront of best practices in pet health and well-being. My goal is to keep providing top-notch care and to be a trusted resource for pet owners who want the very best for their furry, feathered, or scaly family members. I work as a veterinary assistant at pet emergency center, which means I’m surrounded by animals of all kinds everyday, no matter how challenging the task. I’m fit and ready for any possible emergency that may occur and I have plenty of experience in medication/ health issues. I have an acre for your pet to run freely and lots of toys and furry friends to keep them entertained. They’ll have plenty of space to play and explore, ensuring they stay active and happy. Plus, with other pets around, they’ll never be lonely and will always have a buddy to share their adventures with. Whether it's chasing after a ball, playing tug-of-war, or just running around, your pet will have endless opportunities for fun and exercise. The open space is perfect for them to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh air, while the variety of toys will keep their minds engaged. And with other friendly pets around, they'll have the chance to socialize and make new friends, which is great for their overall well-being. Your pet will be in a safe, loving environment where they can thrive and enjoy every moment.

“I have known Jessica and her dogs for years. She is amazingly attentive, calm and careful with her animals and those of others. Visiting pets in her care love her! She is reliable, helpful and doesn't shirk doing what is needed because it is inconvenient. She speaks quietly and calmly to them all, never yells and never physically reprimands them. If there is a problem they just get moved to a different location. Her patience is unending and far exceeds my own! Walks, nail trims, baths and of course play and snuggle time are always part of her routine with her dogs, my dogs and those I have frequently seen in her care. I'd leave my pups in her care without a second's hesitation and can only give her the highest of recommendations.”

Karolina F.Star Sitter
“I've known Karolina for nearly 15 years. She is a lifelong equestrienne and dog and cat owner who loves and understands animals and their needs. She provides her own animals with the best possible care and lots of love. On the occasions she has cared for my dog Stella - a smart little rescue with a strong personality - she has treated her like one of her own. Stella loves her for it. I do, too, and wouldn't hesitate to have Karolina care for any of my pets.”

“I've had the joy of watching Christina's love for animals grow since she was young. From the time we had dogs in the house, she was always the one who wanted to be front and center, making sure they were fed, excercised, and cared for with patience and attention. Her special bond with dogs has only deepened over the years, especially with the rescues she has taken in. Some of these dogs came from very difficult, even heartbreaking situations, but Christina's gentle, calming nature made all the difference. You could see it in how the dogs responded, relaxed, trusting and fully at peace. Her dedication, compassion and instinctive care make her an exceptional choice for anylong looking for someone who truly understands and loves animals. I wholeheardedly recommend Christina.”

Nicholas T.
“Nick is a great dog dad, he’s very attentive to our dogs needs and always goes out of his way to figure out what’s causing them to whine or be antsy. He loves walking them and throwing the ball for them at the dog park. I am confident he will go above and beyond for any animal he meets and treat them just as good as our animals.”
