“Piper and I were very pleased with the care provided by Jacqueline & Sammy! Very friendly, welcoming, obvious dog lovers, and excellent communication. Piper really enjoyed having access to a fenced yard for some zoomies, but the best part of the stay was a long walk followed by belly rubs and a nap. They went above & beyond by washing the mud towel I left in case Piper got muddy paws. If we're ever in the Asheville area, again, we'll be a repeat customer!”

About: I speak dog. I am a natural born doggie mom. Dogs like me and I like them. We just get each other. I can't imagine my life without being surrounded by dogs. Twenty years ago I started up a pet care company on a fluke, just for fun, and it took off like gangbusters and grew to be the second largest pet care company in that town. Then I sold it to a single mom who had been working with me when I moved out of the area. I have started businesses from scratch and grown them using processes, systems and technology to stay organized and professional. I limit the number of dogs I care for so that they all get individualized attention. I also make sure that any dogs that join the pack are screened to make sure they are healthy and friendly with all the other dogs so everyone gets along. I have a huge doggie apartment in my home for everyone to hang out in and a large fenced in yard for them to all play in. I work from home and love being surrouned by dogs. We provide constant supervision while your dog is visiting. Someone will always be with the pack except for brief breaks to run an errand of take a potty break. I work remotely from home as a business and career coach. So, I am home all day and I have a housemate who is my assistant pack pal to make sure everyone is happy, healthy and well taken care of during their entire visit with us. Dogs in our care are never left unattended for longer than a few minutes to an hour at most. Safety and socialization are our priorities. We have designated drop off and pick up times of 7:30 am - 9am drop offs and 4 - 6 pm pick ups. We provide a large clean, safe, comfortable indoor space for dogs to play, lounge, and get lots of tummy rubs. There is also a large covered patio area and fenced in yard for pups that like to play outside and get their zoomies on. We will feed dogs according to their routine and ownders' requests. We will give approved treats to visiting pack pals on owner's approval. We provide a balanced environment and routine for pups to play or rest and relax, and make friends to supervised socialization that empowers them and builds their confidence. We welcome new pack pals into our home as if they were one of our furry family members. We don't use crates of kennels. Everyone is treated like an honored guest and given space to roam and relax in a cozy home environment. I have a whole area of my home in the basement that is designated as the pack pals play pen with a huge fenced in yard for them to play in. We have a doggie door so they can go in and out as they please. The entire doggy den is supplied with lots of comfortable dog beds and a doggy couch for dogs to nap and sleep. We don't use crates of kennels, unless a doggy parent has crate trained their dog and prefers that we crate their dog at night to sleep. Dogs are given a nice balance of a safe, clean, and comfortable indoor space to play and sleep over, as well as a fenced in dog yard and covered patio for potty breaks and play time in the sunshine. We also subscribe to a pooper scooper service that comes mutliple times per week to keep the yard clean and healthy.

“Tabitha and Mrs. Zane were Godsends! They agreed to watch our pup super last minute after our sitter fell through. We cannot recommend them enough and will absolutely use them again when we’re back in town!!”

About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. In addition to dog sitting for many friends and family members over the years, I've also taken care of cats, horses, goats, and even iguanas! I can't wait to provide extra love, play time, and affection for your fur baby, too! I work from home and we have two dogs and a cat. I closely supervise any dogs that are our guests here and can provide potty breaks as frequently as needed. Any pets staying with us are supervised inside and out. Our yard is large and fenced in, so it's a great place for play sessions. For drop in visits, I customize it to the owner's wishes and dog's needs.

“Rosko loves hanging out with Tammy and Riley, and especially loves playing in the pool! He does tippy tappy toes when we pull up to the house. When another dog was also going to be staying for the day, Tammy checked in with me that this would be okay for Rosko and would the dogs get along, definitely appreciated that. We get lots of photos and also report cards. It's a bit of an adventure getting there on a gravel road, Tammy provides detailed instructions. Highly recommend!”

“Holly did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Buddy, while I attended a special event in Union Mills. From the beginning, she was extremely responsive and offered helpful suggestions to make Buddy feel more comfortable, especially since he suffers from separation anxiety. I was concerned about how he would cope, as he typically howls, pants, and shakes until I come home. Holly was very kind and gentle with Buddy, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she works with. She kept me updated on how Buddy was doing throughout the evening and even sent me a few sweet photos, which helped put my mind at ease. I feel confident recommending Holly to anyone in need of care for their pet!”

About: I love animals! After having my daughter I opted to pet sit for friends instead of adopting another dog of my own, and it's been a great treat. Now I'm opening up my services to others! I have a great fenced in yard and will make sure your fur-baby gets regular walks around town. I've volunteered with shelters and rescue organizations, and been through a lot of training with my own dogs. I work from home, so am able to provide walks in the morning and evening, and potty breaks throughout the day. I am happy to follow any protocol for care. I am very attentive to pets and they will always be under my watchful eye! Even when outside. I am comfortable crating, or they can have free range in the house.

About: Hi there! I’m Lindsay - a responsible, experienced dog owner with a calm home, a fully fenced yard, and two friendly dogs of my own who love having company. I’m new to Rover, but not new to petsitting. I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities for years, and I treat every guest like family. I work full-time from home, which allows me to offer consistent supervision and care during evenings and weekends - perfect for pet parents who need flexible, reliable support they can trust. My home is peaceful, pet-friendly, and designed to help dogs relax. I only host a limited number of dogs at a time so each pup gets plenty of attention, playtime, and space to decompress. Whether your dog loves fetch in the yard, long sniffy walks, or curling up on a soft bed, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and part of the pack. I have hands-on experience with: Dogs of all sizes and temperaments Crate-trained and free-roaming dogs Feeding routines, medication schedules, and senior care Multi-dog households and managing introductions During every stay, I provide regular updates and photos so you never feel out of the loop. You’ll come home to a happy, tired, and well-cared-for dog who’s been treated like one of my own. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits within a 15-mile radius — it’s a great option for getting to know me (and for your pup to get familiar) before booking an overnight stay. I love building long-term relationships with the dogs and families I work with. Let’s set up a meet and greet - I’d love to get to know your pup and welcome them into our routine! Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I have two dogs of my own, so my day starts and ends with feeding, playtime, walks, and snuggles. I work full-time at home during the week, so I'm home in the mornings, evenings, and all weekend. That makes evenings, weekends, and holidays ideal for boarding or daycare. I only take on a small number of pets at a time to make sure every dog gets plenty of attention, calm energy, and time to decompress. Your pup will fit right into our rhythm here! Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family - they have access to cozy, pet-friendly areas, a securely fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, and a calm, structured environment that helps them feel at ease. I supervise all introductions carefully and only accept pets that are a good fit for my home and resident dogs. Feeding routines, medication schedules, and special needs are followed exactly as instructed, and I send regular updates so you always know how your pup is doing. Whether it’s boarding, daycare, or drop-ins, I approach every pet with patience, care, and clear boundaries to make sure they’re safe, happy, and well-loved.

About: I have taken care of animals for most of my life. I foster puppies for a local rescue and enjoy the pitter patter of their little feet. I don’t go a day without loving on my animals and seeing to their needs. I always joke that I work to afford their milk bones. I work from home full time and take breaks throughout the day to let the dogs out (while I sing the song.) I also enjoy loving on my dogs and playing with their toys so they get nice and sleepy for the night. At our home, every dog in our care is treated like a cherished member of our own family. We understand that leaving your pup in someone else’s hands is a big decision, which is why we go above and beyond to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness. Our home offers a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run, play, and explore to their heart’s content. For added peace of mind, we’ve invested in a state-of-the-art GPS tracking device that attaches to your dog’s collar or harness during their stay. While we’ve never needed it, we believe in taking every precaution to keep your furry family member safe—the tracker’s battery life lasts over a month, ensuring continuous protection even in the rarest of situations. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, fun in the yard, or quiet time for rest, we make sure each dog feels loved, secure, and cared for as if they were our own. Because here, they’re not just guests—they’re family (like Olive Garden!) Please note: Due to our work schedules, please make sure to be as accurate as you can on the drop off and pick up time. We do plan our day around this information. We are unable to accommodate pickups after 8:00 PM on weekdays except under special circumstances.
