About: Hi! I’m Jenna. I work remotely for a nonprofit that supports first responders and military families so I’m around most of the day and your pup will get lots of attention and love! I live on a quiet property surrounded by orchards in Gridley with a big fenced yard that dogs love. My boyfriend is in law enforcement and between the two of us there’s almost always someone home. We have two friendly dogs (yellow lab and queensland heeler) and two kids who love animals and will happily play and give your pup of love. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and part of the family while you’re away! As a dog mom myself I know how important this is! Your pup will be part of a pretty active and dog friendly household. Between my schedule and my boyfriend who works in law enforcement, someone is usually around the house most of the day. We also have two friendly dogs and two kids who absolutely love animals, so visiting pups get plenty of love and attention. We live on a quiet property in Gridley surrounded by orchards with a large fully fenced backyard that gives dogs plenty of space to run and explore. I always keep an eye on dogs when they’re outside. As a dog mom myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your pup with someone new. I send lots of photo updates so you can feel confident your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I have been an animal lover my entire life. I have taken care of so many different animals, from dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, farm animals, and wildlife. I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility and have a year of experience caring for multiple different types of dog breeds, cats and birds. I also grew up raising and showing sheep in 4H and FFA for about 9 years, so taking care of animals has always been something that I enjoy doing. I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play and care for your fur babies! Just send me a message and we can discuss further details. I am able to do drop in visits and on some days, daycare in my clients homes. I can play with your pups, spend some cuddle time with them, give baths, go on walks, clean crates, kennels and any accidents if they happen to have any. I am a trustworthy, compassionate, reliable and responsible person especially when it comes to animals, so you can count on me to keep your fur babies safe while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a child all the way from administration of medicine to birthing animals on a farm to just feeding and walking and loving on animals. I have had experience with puppies all the way to seniors. I have also helped train animals on and off. I would love to have the chance to be your fur babies next best friend. I am free almost always as I work from home. I work from home and I am free almost always and always can make time for animals. I am free mornings all the way to evenings. I live on a farm in a fenced in yard. My sheep are separated from the other animals but do well around the sheep but I would keep clients animals away. One dog is an outside dog but comes in and one is a full time inside dog. She sleeps with me and loves to go on car rides and both are friendly animals. I have cats who live on the farm but they do there on thing and get along well with other animals. I can follow instructions well if you have a certain way you would like things done.
“Tylyn was wonderful with our dogs! We really know when the boys have fun and feel comfortable. They are very picky! They really really loved her and her little girl. Snow normally doesn’t get along well with children but he just loved Naya. They played a lot, enjoyed a dog pool and went on walks with her. They were very tired on our way back home. Thank you, Tylyn, for taking such good care of them. See you next time.”

“Lynn was amazing! She went way above and beyond my expectation. I'm extremely protective of my pups and was worried about leaving them, but once I met Lynn and saw how she was with my little guys and with her own "babies", and how secure her yard was, I felt completely at ease and comfortable leaving them in her care. I didn't bring their food with me because we weren't leaving them overnight and they won't eat when we're not there. She made them chicken! which of course they ate right up. This woman LOVES dogs. I will definitely use her again and would highly recommend her.”

“Kena always goes above and beyond she watched our two fur babies during our wedding helped drop them Off and pick them up from the wedding venue so They could be apart of the ceremony. It made our day even more special to have our first babies apart of our wedding day as well as piece of mind they were safe and having an epic time at day care during the rest of the day. Rocky and Hachi loved going to Kena’s and can’t wait to go back. We will be forever thankful to Kena ! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts”

“Olivia was great! I highly recommend her! We had a funeral to attend in the Yuba City area and our dog sitter wasn't available..Olivia agreed to watch Bandit with 1 days notice. She sent pictures & gave us updates throughout the afternoon. You could tell she loves dogs! We will definitely use her services again if we ever have a need again for a sitter in that area of California!”

“Karlina was a great sitter for salsa! She hosted our dog and has a great backyard space for the dogs to hang out in. She took great care of salsa while we were at a wedding for the night, and we came back to a tired pup! 😊”

“Forest provided doggy daycare for our dog for a week. It was a stressful week for us with moving to a new home and having Forest take care of our dog set our minds at ease. He took her on long walks on trails and she had a blast! This city dog got to see cows for the first time! Forest is very kind and we definitely will reach out to him again in the future about taking care of Maeve.”

“I was very hesitant in leaving my pup due to me never wanting to leave him with anyone , but today I had to leave town for the day.. I felt comfortable leaving macho with her. She sent me pictures and we talked through out the day! My pup never potty outside before , and today he did!! He must of had fun because he’s been sleeping since I got him back lol.”

I currently work part time at Bath & Body Works and usually only have 2–3 shifts a week, so my schedule is very flexible. When I’m not working, I’m home spending time with my own dogs. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll do my best to follow their normal routine and help them feel right at home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Biggs commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
