“Tina is the best!! Luna loves staying with her. It gives us such peace of mind when we are away to know that she's being well taken care of. She is actually very spoiled. 🙂 we will definitely be booking again the next time we need someone to watch Luna. Thank you for loving her!! 🥰”

“Ellen is a phenomenal sitter. Athena has stayed with her twice and there are always other pups for her to play with and so much space. Ellen has no issue at all maintaining multiple dogs! Athena is always so happy at drop off and pickup, and needs a big nap after her stay from all the fun! We look forward to booking again!!”

“Danny was great. Kept me informed and sent pics of Finn. This was the first time I left Finn for such a long time, but I think I missed him more than he missed me. I will use Danny in the future to take care of Finn.”

“I had to leave my dog Thenji with Adrienne and Nick at very short notice. They were able to take her. It was so reassuring to know that she was being so lovingly cared for!”

“Mandie was wonderful and helped us with a six day stay with very short notice. Communication was perfect with quick responses and frequent updates with pictures. We definitely recommend Mandie and will surely be back!”

“We were really nervous leaving Po with strangers, since he had only ever stayed with friends and family. It was a real comfort knowing that he would be staying with a dog trainer and in a home with other dogs so he could socialize. He has anxiety that we are dealing with, as well. Chloe was great!!”

“Terri was amazing. So chill and relaxed around our sensitive dog. She is one of those rare sitters that does not have her own dogs or cats and is 100% dedicated to yours. She has a house and yard that are peaceful and quiet and in a great neighborhood for interesting walks. I would 100% recommend Terri, she is an absolute gem.”

“Sandra has such a love for animals. She has taken great care of Max both times we have booked with her. She updates me on him throughout the day. She is such a great caretaker. Thank you for taking the time and letting my daughter pet the bunnies. Will absolutely book again 😊”

“Donna and Scott’s care was exceptional and they definitely went above and beyond to make Ziggy feel at home. It was very stressful when we realized the family that usually watches him couldn’t take care of him. The thought of boarding him was upsetting and doing so would have ruined our vacation. Our vacation was great and Donna and Scott sent many pictures that really contributed to its success. Very caring people. We couldn’t be any happier.”
“It was perfect and I felt wonderfully at ease leaving my dog with Anna. Even at our meet and greet visit I knew Jack would love it. Anna has a large fenced in grassy yard infront of the house, 2 really sweet, playful, medium sized dogs of her own who my dog loved playing with (and he wasn't intimidated at all like he was when we tried the dog park), 2 sweet boys who he slept and cuddled with, and he even got daily walks in addition to play. Anna has a dog loving, active family and kept me informed with pictures and videos that he was doing well and adjusted quickly (and was embraced) like a member of the family. What more could I ask.”

“Chris & Gerry are simply THE BEST! I couldn’t say enough great things about them. So many beautiful updates every day while on vacation with heartwarming messages and adorable pics of our little Lexi. I was completely relaxed my entire vacation knowing Lexi was in such great hands! Can’t thank you enough!”

About: I have had dogs all my life but love all animals. I am a mom of 3 girls, 1 dog and 3 chickens. Please let me know of any special requests your pet might need for there stay. I will do my best to make there stay as comfortable as possible so they will love their home away from home. I am a stay at home mom so I can be home with your pup, take them to the park or do pick up and drop offs. My schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced in yard and your pet will never be unattended. There is plenty of room for even the largest dog to run and play.
“Stark always has fun when he stays with Priscila. It was his second time, and he’s comfortable with her. She sends updates and makes me feel at ease when we’re away! Thank you for watching Stark! Will definitely be back again.”

“Marne and family did and awesome job watching my pups. Wilson can be a handful and Raven has some special needs and they were super great and conscientious about taking super good care of them. Appreciated the pics and videos while we were away.”

“My dog was in good hands for the two weeks that she was with her! She’s very sweet and sends photo updates frequently. I would definitely book her again if we are in a pinch!”

“Rebecca was fantastic! She took very good care of my dogs and provided updates and was very responsive. I unfortunately did not have the correct dates for my vacation but she went out of her way to not only watch my dogs for the extra night but got them additional food and she was very kind about it when it was my mistake. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Linda did a great job of taking care of Ace. He had a great time at her place and she kept me updated on how he was doing and sent pictures several times during the stay. Will definitely contact her again in the future.”

“Buddy was in good hands and slept solidly after his two days of visiting. We will use Darshini and Joseph again in the near future. Thank you for taking care of our Buddy.”

“Carmen and her husband were very nice. They watched our 7 pound Yorkie, Cooper, for the weekend while we were at a wedding. They gave us daily updates with cute photos. And Cooper was really happy when we came to pick him up. Their two dogs were great with Cooper and he enjoyed playing with them.”

Nadia is amazing! She is so flexible with having to make adjustments to the schedule and even goes out of her way to help with pick up/ drop off (which have been such a blessing with having a young baby). She communicates very well and provides picture updates during my dogs stay. Will definitely be using her again!

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Biesecker Gap can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Biesecker Gap home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Biesecker Gap.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Biesecker Gap sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
