About: I’ve cared for multiple pups (and cats) over my 9 years of being with them. I’m very open to constructive criticism because I want to be able to get to know you, and your pet. I love animals, and enjoy being around them all day, I’ve already worked part-time at a boarding/ day care facility, and I’m hoping to extend my time (full-time) to care for your fur babies! I’m always around dogs, cats, birds, and any pet you could probably think of, with enough information and research, I’m sure I’ll be the perfect caregiver for your cat or dog. I’ll care for any pet as long as I have some form of base instruction (feeding, bed time, how many potty breaks, etc) if you expect me to take your pup out 20 times a day, then I’ll do that! It would be very nice to know before hand though. I’ll personally make a list of the expectations you have for me!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and currently have a sweet 3-year-old basset hound I adore. I’m responsible, experienced, and love giving pups the care and attention they deserve! We have 2 tabby cats and 2 dogs (Sheltie and have a Portuguese Pondengo mix) I owned 3 previous dogs: Sheltie (22 years), Siberian husky (tripod dog-13 years) and an Argentina Dogo (10 yrs). Previously owned 2 cats from birth until their 18th year. I have also owned and cared for horses, goats, chickens, hamsters, bunnies, a turtle and a snake. If your pet is social and cuddly then cuddles they will have. If your pet likes their space then space they will have. If you have a pet in training or with specific training/commands consistency will be maintained. I am adaptable to all pets and their specific needs whether gentle and calm or firm and assertive, consistency is my aim. I have cared for and/or owned animals young and old with handicaps, anxiety, medication requirements, etc. Lastly, I love to exercise and am out on the track daily. I can accommodate whatever exercise requirements your pet needs to be healthy and happy while you are away. I have a fenced in yard with a large tree that provides shade. All outside time is supervised and the temperature is always taken into consideration. Time is made for play or sunbathing whatever your furry baby prefers. If your pet enjoys a sprinkler, then play time can also include this refreshing treat! I love to keep owners updated daily on what their pets have been doing and am always available should an owner need to contact me. I love providing pet care in addition to working for those who desire someone trustworthy and reliable. My availability is always de-conflicted with my normal schedule. Consistency is the key when providing pet care. I like to keep the pet's environment and expectations consistent with that of the pet owner. Routines, commands, etc.

This was my first time using Rover and having someone house sit with my dogs so I was hesitant but then Shalaya came and did a meet and greet with myself and my 3 dogs and she was very patient, sweet and kind and all my dogs gravitated to her and liked her this made me feel much more comfortable and confident in leaving my dogs and home in her care. She did a house sitting for my 3 dogs for 4 days. When I got back home my dogs were so happy and content they let me know they had been well taken care of in my absence.
