“Thus review may be a detailed tome as we are very pleased with our experience using this family team to board our large elderly Italian Mountain Dog (a Maremma). This was our first experience with Rover. We selected Douglas D based on location, photos of fenced yard, positive reviews and friendly response to our initial inquiry. Our dog is a large white fur bomb which proved to be no deterrent to Doug snd Laura in providing a comfortable, safe, and loving home-away-from-home for our Bella. Through regular pics, texts, and video they were good in keeping us updated on all aspects of Bella’s emotional and physical well being such as her eating, adjustment to new caregivers/surroundings, interactions with other dogs, and helpful observations of an underlying health condition. Bella developed an unpleasant odor which did not appear to shake these thoughtful caregivers; - without panic they calmly & promptly brought it to our attention so we were able to provide timely vet care for a previously missed kidney condition. (Happily, our baby smells sweet again & is doing well ;) Oops- I’ve digressed.. So we had rightly picked Doug D.... .We were able to set up our initial doggy meet & greet by phone conversation and all remaining contact was conducted via text which was at times a little difficult due to nerve damage in my hands; however this preference for remaining contact/dialogue solely through texting may be due to a some protective Rover policy issue (?) to prevent undocumented claims by either party. (?) However, MOST IMPORTANTLY—With that small inconvenience aside; Laura and Doug were consistently fast and friendly in responding to any questions, eager to provide helpful information & even quick to be helpful and problem solve when traffic threatened a timely return. Best of all, they enabled us to relax and entrust our girl to their capable loving care. Bella appeared happy, relaxed & comfortably settled in to the household when we picked her up. We recommend this provider without hesitation and look forward to leaving our dog in their loving capable care again. They are sincerely warm and kind people. Thanks again Lara and Doug! You rock! PS I hope this review won’t make the Denny’s so popular as to have no dates available next time we need them because to Bella; they’ve become family.”

“Raina is extremely responsive! Her backyard has a high fence and was perfect for my sun-loving dog. You’ll receive photos and videos to assure your pup is happy and moving. Her cat Oreo is great with dogs! It was my dog’s first time being at a place with a cat and it went great. Raina is attentive and she will take great care of your pup!”
